I missed the no WiFi detail. I didn’t even think about not having WiFi. I was planning to work some and couldn’t so it did create some extra stress instead of being able to relax.

The hostess was very easy to work with and the property was lovely. You can tell that they put a lot of work into remodeling it. It would be a great place to rent for a family or two that wants to enjoy the lake. There are three lovely bedrooms and then a bunk room for 4 kids or possibly more. Big island in the kitchen was awesome!

Peaceful stay

We had the best stay. The place was really updated and clean. Great view of the lake and very peaceful. We really enjoyed our time at the lake!

The house is beautiful! All new bedrooms and baths. Beautiful setting. We came for an event so didn’t spend a lot of time near the water but the setting is amazing!

Quick family getaway. The house was perfect and had everything and more than we needed. My husband and daughter fished and had a great time. The boat ramp near the house and the dock we ver convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Get Away

We had a great family vacation. Easy access to launch a boat and get right in the water. Good fishing and intertubing. Really enjoyed our stay.

This property was a true gem! Check in & communication was quick & easy. The home was thoughtfully done & so comfortable! The kitchen/family area were top notch & the bathrooms were a spa like retreat! The location was perfect with the boat landing just steps away! Our family enjoyed this peaceful getaway so much!!

Beautiful Lake Retreat

This property was fantastic for a weekend getaway with my husband, baby, and mother-in-law. The home is very spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished. We had all that we could have needed for a few days of fishing, cooking, and enjoying the scenery. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked well.

Great place!

We enjoyed a 2 week stay here. Lots of fishing/swimming! Super clean and we had blast with the board/card games they have! Abby is a gem and was super quick/helpful with anything we needed!

Lake Mitchell

Very attentive/responsive property management. We loved our stay even in the midst of a frigid cold snap gripping the US. We will for sure be back!

Wonderful place to stay

We loved the family house. The whole house was beautiful and clean. Well organized and had the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable. Coffee on the dock was mine and my husbands favorite part. Peaceful and beautiful. Our girls loved the wall bunk beds and the slide off the porch. Beds were so comfortable.

Great place for getaway

This was a great place for our siblings reunion. Quiet. Off the beaten path. Beautiful scenery. Clean and comfortable place. The “conversation pit” in the living room was perfect for the whole group to be able to sit together and visit. Amy was very responsive to every inquiry in signing up and checking in.

Nice place, however, the parking was not as expected fortunately we were able to figure something else out. When heading to bed we realized there was only one top sheet in the entire house. Beds were made without them. They did bring 2 more the next day but never brought any for the bunk beds. The brita pitcher had so much mildew in it that it looked like the water was brown. We never. Old get the direct tv to come on even after following the directions from the property manager. The jack and Jill bathroom shower only gets Luke warm when turned fully to hot. We just used the other one since it worked good. We stopped asking the property manager about stuff because we didn’t want to be complainers. We just worked it out. No big deal. Otherwise a cute little house with a beautiful view.

Staycation from Heaven!!

I stayed at the lake house for a little less than a week by myself for a little staycation. The home is absolutely beautiful, making an excellent use of space with fresh updates, decor and furniture. It is full of peace and quiet, and the owner Abby is wonderful to communicate with! I will say that while Vrbo indicates they are pet friendly, they prefer no cats. I did not realize this since there is no clarity on the app or booking process for that. Abby was very understanding and easy to work with on that. Plus my cat is very well behaved so I didn’t have to worry with him picking furniture or messing up any of the property! Just be sure to mention that ahead of time so that you can respect the owners who are kind enough to share this little gem! Otherwise, there’s a small, new pier and a boat launch a stones throw away! No internet connection but you can drive about 10 minutes if you need service for anything that may pop up. Literally everything you need and nothing you don’t with this property! Loved it!
