Thank you Kathy for taking the time to post your review. I was happy to hear from you during your stay and learn that you loved the condo and were having a fantastic birthday celebration! I am sorry that you caught the end of the red tide in the area as well as rain. We are located in a tropical climate and are also about mid way through our "rainy" season here in SW Florida. We tend to get a little bit of heavy rain each day. As you probably noticed, the rain comes down hard, fierce and heavy for a good solid 20 minutes, leaves some standing water but then dry's up so fast that it's hard to believe that it actually rained that day. Tropical environments are interesting, but definitely a true form of paradise! Thank you for choosing our condo for your stay and we look forward to your return trip to our condo the next time your plans bring you back to our area. Michele

Hi Gordon; Thank you for taking the time to post your review, I appreciate :). I am happy to know that you found our spacious condo to be comfortable, quiet and in a great location. We are known to be located at the very best spot on the beach, so very happy that you enjoyed the peace as well as the great restaurants and things to do nearby. As for the pool, it is normally pretty toasty, however the month of December down here can surprise us a bit, and this year we have been cooler then usual, especially over night. I spoke with the community manager who reports that the pool is cranked onto the highest heat setting possible and that despite the cooler overnights dipping into the low's 50's with low 70's during the day some days this month, the Sandarac's oversized pool has still managed to maintain around an 80 degree temperature. We do typically like to see it a tad bit warmer, (especially me as I am a cold weather wimp) however all of the pools down here are a bit dependent on Mother Nature doing her part during the day time hours to help the pool temp working it's best with the heater. I wish we could fight Mother Nature and win, however we are at times at her mercy :) Thank you for choosing our condo for your stay, hope to see your back next year during a consistently warmer month :). Hi Heidi; Thank you so much for taking the time to post your wonderful 5 star review for our Fort Myer Beach Front (DIRECTLY ON THE BEACH :) condo. The extra bathroom for your two teenagers was no doubt a great condo asset. I have had teen girls myself and know how important it is to have that extra bathroom while on a family vacation ! It would be hard to go back to a hotel room for vacations after sprawling out in a spacious condo :). In fact, I already have you both returning for winter of 2019 for your 4th stay at our condo. I know the views from our condo home are quite hard to resist :) The location as you mentioned is the absolute best with all of the restaurant offerings, shops, farmers market, and the fun "dinner movie theater" just a few minutes walk to the North. Thank you so much for returning each year, we appreciate and always love working with you both.
