Bright Artsy & Spacious 2bdrm/2bath - Lake nearby & pets ok!
Unique and spacious home sleeps up to 6 people. Well behaved dogs permitted with a one-time pet fee (please add pet to your reservation). Within 1-2 miles from public boat ramps for Lakes LBJ, Marble Falls, and Horseshoe Bay, hiking trails nearby, and lots of lovely wildlife. Relax in this 2 bed/ 2 bath 2-story artistic home in Cottonwood Shores. Well-equipped kitchen, dining room, private deck with BBQ. Roku TV, WIFI to use with your own streaming accounts. Parking for 2-3 vehicles plus your boat or trailer for jet skis, kayaks, etc. Enjoy our peaceful home in the Highland Lakes area of the Texas hill country.
PETS: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs with responsible pet owners are welcome (one-time pet fee $40 - Please consider the extra cleaning involved when pets are present and add them to your reservation). Caged pets must have pre-approval. UNABLE TO HOST CATS as it causes problems for guests with allergies. ALL PETS MUST BE CRATED IF YOU LEAVE THEM ALONE. We supply 1 large crate for your use. No charge for licensed service animals but please inform us if you're bringing one.
SLEEPS UP TO 6 PEOPLE: Base rate is for 2 people. Please add all people to your reservation for accuracy. Each of the 2 bedrooms has a queen bed and private bathroom. There is also an open loft with a twin bed and Ikea queen sleeper sofa.
Host residence is on the property, with no shared spaces between guests and hosts. We're available if there's anything urgent but respectful of your privacy and space - we'll likely not be around much during your stay.
What We Like About Cottonwood Shores: We've lived here for many years and enjoy our down-to-earth community on the lake. We've found it to be quiet, friendly and safe - and especially enjoy the wildlife here. The deer, foxes and variety of wild birds are a delight.
Within a mile there are 2 public parks on the lake and a boat ramp with lake access. Good restaurants nearby and an outdoor Fresh Air & Food Park with pickleball court, food court and bar, music venue and 3-story sunset deck.
If you're looking for a relaxing place to unwind, re-connect with friends and loved ones, enjoy the ;lake and tourist attractions, see the hill country, looking for a quiet place to rest or work from home, BBQ, go for walks.. this is the place for you.
If you need a place where you can turn your music WAY up, whoop, holler, dance, etc. we get that.. but this won't be a good fit for you. Thanks!

The place itself is lovely. One thing to know it is located in a neighborhood and you will have people underneath you. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great place to stay for our visit. We were out all day exploring so it was a very nice place to come back to and relax. We also enjoyed the deer we spotted.

We had a great stay. The house was very clean and exactly as described. It was also easy to communicate with the hosts. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

Great house great location
The house was really cool and in a quiet neighborhood with deer in front yards almost every morning. It was close to downtown Marble Falls and very convenient. We would stay again!

Quiet Neighborhood, Beautiful Home!
Five stars on everything here, but 10 starts on the shower in the loft :)

Relaxing and spacious
The rooms are spacious, and the neighborhood quiet. Clear directions and labels everywhere. Very gracious host.

The rooms were very clean, nicely designed interior spaces, good water pressure, well thought out personal touches. Neighborhood was a drawback; owners living on lower level.

Marble Falls Get away
This was a great place for quick weekend get away from Austin. Eclectic but very cool interior. Very comfortable for out family of 4. The neighborhood has two waterfront parks on the upper end of Lake Marble falls which is great for swiming or kayaking.

Robin was such a gem to help us out when last minute jury duty summons threatened to derail our plans in mid December. Blessedly I got a vacation exemption, so all was well. The space was lovely, and the fact they're doggo friendly (and provided back up necessities like bowls, beds, toys, and a crate) made this a top notch stay. Bonus: be sure to find the box that says "Look Inside" in the lower bedroom - you won't be disappointed, esp. if you're into travel nostalgia. Thanks again, Robin!

Clean and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Close to lake marble falls and lake LBJ which was the primary reason for our visit. Robin was very responsive
