The Cottage at Streamwalk

Located off the beaten path in a beautiful pristine valley, this 1 bed, 1 ½ bath cottage offers high end furnishings with a vintage flair modeled after a true english stone cottage. The cottage offers miles of private walking trails on 100 private acres along the renowned Big Green trout stream. Our small highland cow herd roams the pastures, making it feel like you truly are in the Scottish Highlands. The cottage includes a full kitchen with modern appliances and utensils. The living room has a gas fireplace and smart tv capable of access to all main streaming services. The sunroom includes a seating area to enjoy a book or your morning coffee while looking out at the beautiful bluffs. The bedroom is furnished with a king size bed including fresh linens, a comforter, and bedspread. The full bath includes a rainfall shower and full vanity. There is a patio outside of the living room and bedroom. The two person hot tub is located on the bedroom patio. The entire cottage is wired to a bluetooth compatible stereo system. A private fire pit is located just outside of the cottage along with a gas grill. The best amenity is the surrounding property. The cottage sets on 100 private acres located in the heart of Wisconsin's Driftless region all of which you will have access to for your enjoyment and relaxation. The property owners live out of site just a few miles down the road and are available to help throughout your stay. This is a rural and private setting located in the country at the end of a private gravel driveway roughly 7 miles outside of town. Also available a two bedroom booking (inquire about our 2nd bedroom rates).

The property is incredible. Every detail of the home is immaculate. Very comfortable bed. Bluetooth system is amazing. Responsive host if needed. Will 100% be back in the summertime.

Absolutely Beautiful!

A view of a breathtaking valley in the Driftless Region of Wisconsin from the gorgeous property. Hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing all within easy access. We just got home and have already recommended The Cottage at Streamwalk to several friends. Will be back again.

Amazing!

This is *the place* if you are looking for an idyllic, private retreat. The scenery from the beautiful cottage is a breathtaking Driftless valley. Just watching the valley change throughout the day was a treat. We enjoyed the “noisy neighbors” (birds, deer, even a few coyotes), the starry nights, the cozy fireplace and the available-but-nowhere-in-sight hosts!

Absolte perfection

For those that like a quiet escape, this is the absolutely best option anywhere. Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings, above and beyond in every possible criteria. Comfort in every way. Kitchen designed for those who love to cook. Wonderful and helpful hosts. Without hesitation, a new and favorite spot of mine.

Perfect getaway!

The Cottage at Streamwalk is the perfect escape for anyone looking to unwind in the beauty and tranquility of nature. Tucked away on a secluded 100-acre property, it offers total privacy and stunning views—whether you're sipping coffee on the deck in the morning or a glass of wine stargazing at night.Inside, the space is beautifully decorated with cozy yet modern touches. The full kitchen is great for anyone who enjoys cooking, and the lighting and speaker system add a warm, inviting atmosphere. While the drive in has limited cell service, the WiFi at the cottage works well once you're settled.We loved the short trails on the property and the Highland cows, which you can often spot from the deck or along your walk. The owners were incredibly helpful, friendly, and respectfully hands-off—they were available if needed but let us fully enjoy our stay in peace.We can’t say enough good things about this place and are already looking forward to coming back!
