Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or family as the first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a king bed with an extra long twin trundle. Secluded back yard with private deck and hot tub that is wonderful to soothe muscles after a day of activities. Wall mounted TVs in both bedrooms and living room, all with ROKU and Spectrum Cable. Extensive movie selection available. Fully equipped kitchen. Great fall getaway

The Bears Rest is a perfect cabin to escape from the rest of the world’s noise. So comfortable and easily accessed, we loved staying there!

Super cozy, peaceful, lovely home

I met two friends for the weekend here and we had a grand time. The house was perfect, the beds were big and comfortable, kitchen is modern, it has two bathrooms, the details are creative, and bears are EVERYWHERE! We enjoyed the hot tub and TV viewing options. I can’t say enough good things about this place, the owners were very accommodating, it comes highly recommended.

We stayed here to go to Viking weekend at the Ohio ren faire. It was lovely, and very clean. We enjoyed staying there very much!

25th anniversary trip

Our 3rd stay here pretty much cements this special cabin as our go to getaway. It checks all the boxes and meets our needs perfectly. I kept telling my wife I could see us living in a property like this. Owners are awesome and added some special touches to make our stay memorable.

Friends reunion

Perfect location. A few minutes to business area filled with restaurant retail and eating places, but then you get to tuck in your little cabin. Weather permitting, sit on the deck and watch nature or hit the hot tub! Dry clean and well appointed.

Return visit just as good as before

We had an excellent stay here last year so we booked again for this year, and there were no disappointments. The owners do a great job prepping the house for guests, and we needed nothing. Outstanding value!

Peaceful setting

We had come from the Smokies and still felt like we were there when we arrived at the cabin! We enjoyed the privacy of the backyard and hot tub. We would come again!

Winter weekend away

We loved this property! Enjoyed the movies and hot tub for a relaxing stay. Host has thought of everything you might need and communication was great especially when we were having trouble booking. Would definitely stay again.

A nice weekend getaway

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The cabin had a woodsy feel but was close to restaurants and grocery stores. Not far from the Golden Lamb.

All sheets, blankets, bedspreads, furniture throws and towels, including hot tub towels, are washed in 140 degree water after every guest to sanitize for the next guest. Floors are vacuumed and steamed after each guest. High touch areas are wiped with disinfectant. Owner on property for quick response but rental property back yard and deck are very private.
