Peaceful cottage on Main Street, just outside of the business area. Walk to shops and restaurants or bike .6 miles to the Little Miami Scenic Trail. Equipped kitchenette sufficient to prepare light meals, outdoor grill, patio and lawn area for outdoor games. Queen bed and Queen sleeper sofa. There is room inside for bike storage.

Greystone Cottage is located close to the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail, canoeing, zip-lining, King’s Island, Ohio Ren-fest and Caesar’s Creek.

This property is amazing..perfect location from the bike trail, perfect size, blessed a/c after a hot day, cold water in the frig. Breakfast close by. Absolutely wonderful. Would stay again.

This was a perfect spot close to the Cincinnati Open. Connie was so easy to work with and everything in the cottage was exactly what we needed. Very clean, bathroom and kitchen well-stocked with some extras! Such a cute little place!

Perfect getaway place for an individual or couple. The cottage was very quiet which was perfect for me, and is close to town. Just note that the cottage is behind the main house which is next to the funeral home parking lot. Highly recommend.

Cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at! Cozy and cute decorating touches! Comfortable bed and good shower (hot water and good water pressure). Plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap/shampoo, coffee and cream/sugar. Hosts Dale and Connie were super! We would definitely stay again if we get the chance!

This was the perfect place for my wife and me to stay to visit the grandkids. Waynesville is the perfect small town if you like that type of atmosphere - and we do!Connie was the perfect host, and everything someone might want to have around for a short stay was on hand [i.e., coffee, chocolate goodies, bottled water, etc.]. We would definitely recommend staying there - and we plan to come back :)

We got to meet the gentleman, he was super friendly. The property was extremely cute, and welcoming. I would recommend this place to close friends and family. We loved it here. Great place!!

Beautiful, comfortable space and great location.

We enjoyed some time with our daughter who goes to school nearby. The set up was perfect for us. It was like staying in a super comfy hotel suite but better. The location was really good too. We took a short walk down the street for shopping and dinner and also did some hiking at the nearby State Park. Can’t say enough good things about this listing.

Wonderful stay!

I needed a R & R weekend in a place that I knew I would enjoy. I have always loved the atmosphere in Waynesville--the quaint shops, historic homes and friendly folks. This was my first time staying at Greystone Cottage, and it made my visit even more perfect. The hosts are very welcoming and check-in is simple. They are available if they should be needed, but otherwise respect guests' privacy. I had the impression that the cottage was quite small, but there is more than enough room to relax and I found nothing lacking for my comfort. The decorative touches are beautiful yet homey, the yard to the rear, which guests are free to use, is immaculately kept. What can I say, except that I kind of want to LIVE there! I definitely see more Greystone Cottage weekends in my future.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We came to the area for the renascence festival and enjoyed the close location to that. The rental and property were very clean and the kitchen was a nice bonus. The host was very nice and easy to get in contact with.

Cottage was excellent!! My only complaints were too much light coming in the windows at night and the on-street parking. Quite a distance to have to carry luggage from street to cottage. But the cottage was SO clean and neat and well-outfitted it made up for the inconvenience. Now if they could just have controlled the rain! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Waynesville!

I am a retired dressmaker. For many years I created custom bridal gowns and theatrical costumes from my basement atelier while raising my children.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

When we became empty nesters we decided to move 10 miles up the highway to Waynesville, my husband’s hometown. For years every time I drove by this house I would comment on how much I liked it. When we were ready to make the move this house happened to be on the market. It came with the cottage which my husband used for his home office for awhile. We decided to make it a short term rental in 2020.

The house is 100 years old. It was a “mash-up” of a Sears Catalog House and another plan from the American Home Plans Company. It has many unique and original features, including the original roof.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The cottage started as a garage. The second owner (we are the third) was a visionary and saw a lovely cottage instead of a garage. She added the stone part of the building which has the kitchen and bathroom and converted the rest into the cozy cottage you see today. It’s a very comfortable place to stay while exploring nearby attractions or visiting Waynesville family and friends.
