The place was exactly what I needed for the weekend. I was in town to compete at the Magic City CrossFit Semifinals and the unit was perfect for resting between events. Samuel was awesome as a host and even went the extra mile to provide a blender so I could make my smoothies for the weekend to refuel. Having laundry in the unit was also a huge bonus so I could fly home with clean clothes after a full weekend of brutal workouts. Would definitely recommend staying here if your taking a trip to Birmingham.

Safe & Great Location

I had concerns about the Bham area for a weekend trip, but I was beyond pleased with this property and will book it again and tell any friend and family about it as well. Thanks Samuel for a great property.

Exceptional

I stayed for 2 weeks, 7/20/24 - 8/2/24 I was totally pleased with the accommodations, very reasonably priced and within a short driving distance to everything. I will definitely book again if available. Very gracious host and was always available when I contacted.

Work

I forgot to give a review because things have been so busy! I thoroughly enjoyed this property! Spot on with pictures, description, very clean. Host was great, easy to get a hold of and very pleasant! Next year when we have to work again we will be staying with him again!

Pleasant surprise

Stayed while moving my daughter into college. Was not far from university but was in a commercial type building being converted into units. Not what I was expecting when I arrived. But it was very clean and seemed to have security situations. There is more cleanup, renovation to be done on property/outside but they were actively working on it I saw in my coming and going. Would stay again.

good property but not a fan of the area

overall we had a great stay.. the place is mostly quiet but we did have noisy neighbours at one point .. the neighborhood was kinda sketchy - lots of old houses falling apart; birmingham is kinda dumpy in general but we weren’t there to see the city - the location was good with easy access to the interstate.. the building itself is quite secure as there are 3 separate codes to get to your unit..anyway, the unit itself a good size.. it’s in a converted office building but we had lots of space for our things and it was nice having a full size fridge and a washer and dryer.. there’s definitely room for improvements though in our opinion.. there were no scissors (we needed to open some packages and cut tags off), no cutting boards (we made a lot of our own food), no laundry detergent or dryer sheets, no salt, no tea towels or dish cloths (and we were only supplied 1 roll of paper towel), and only a couple of dishwasher tabs.. if you were staying for a 2-3 nights you’re probably fine without those things but we were there for over a week and those things would’ve been nice to have supplied.. with that being said, it was a comfortable stay.. it’s got a ton of room for 2 people, the bed is so comfy and the floor to ceiling windows were fantastic for letting in lots of light and the blackout curtains were great for the afternoon and night when the sun came around the side of the building (we were in unit 2)..
