This spot was exactly what we were looking for. Walking distance to avondale and that area, close to cahaba brewing and restaurants, and a quick ride to most everything else. You park on the street, but there were plenty of spots.The actual rental had everything we needed. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay (near Avondale Brewing)

My three friends and I had a wonderful stay! We were there for a concert at Avondale Brewing. It was raining when we went to the concert, but we walked back after. It was close to the venue. We had great communication with Kathleen. The sofa was broken, and she contacted us before we even arrived and replaced the couch that night. We love concerts at Avondale, so we definitely will be back.

The property was as described and in a location easily accessible to downtown. It was in a quiet neighborhood and served its purpose of lodging for me and my dog. Great neighborhood for dog walking and it was a nice price.I was only there for 2 nights and arrived late the first evening so I was too tired to do much. I did inform the host prior to leaving of 2 issues but I understood there wouldn’t be time to address them prior to leaving and that was fine with me. My only real issue was with the numerous requirements prior to arrival. Though the stay was reasonably priced, I didn’t feel the accommodations matched with the pre-arrival requirement. The listing does say a rental agreement was required and all vrbo listings say a drivers license MAY be required however this is the first listing where I experienced this type of ID submission process. I was bombarded with multiple communications (via text, email, and vrbo message) requesting a photo, signature, etc.; verification links that if not clicked on expired after a short period of time, and a separate 4 page long rental agreement in small font which I had to read and sign on my phone. It seemed like overkill for a 2 night stay. Though the host explained this was because of a previous theft and unauthorized guest which I sympathize with, it just seems extreme to punish future guests for what seems like a known risk for this type of business. This really put a damper on the stay before we even arrived.
