Tucked away down a tree lined driveway sits a little oasis. 10 min walk to downtown for restaurants, bars, boutiques, breweries, and more. Centrally located in the middle of several award winning wine appellations. Head to the Russian River Valley, Healdsburg/Dry Creek, or the Sonoma Valley. Hosts are friendly locals, and there's a sweet rescue dog on the property, she likes ear scratches, laying in the sun, and will probably try to hang out with you. A peaceful space to enjoy the Wine Country.

What a wonderful property and conveniently located in the historic McDonald district of Santa Rosa. We were welcomed with a wonderful email to ease checkin, and a sweet welcome basket with a note from the owners. The rental was well equipped and had every amenity we could have asked for at a VRBO rental. This truly was one of our best rental experiences. We travel to Santa Rosa often and we will never use the hotels again if this rental is available. Wonderful hosts!

My wife and I stayed for about 3 weeks and the place was perfect !!!! The unit was well supplied with anything that you would need in the kitchen, the washer and dryer was a big help and the unit was well appointed and nice and quiet. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Christmas was a great host and always available to answer a question. We will definitely come back

The cottage was perfect, well appointed, comfortable with all the amenities one could want. The hosts were kind and helpful. The location is lovely and convenient. It was very clean and homey. The hosts had great suggestions for restaurants, shops. wineries, etc. We found it perfect!

The cottage is absolutely amazing! All the amenities, clean, quiet, beautiful yard, lovely reading area outside. The hosts were gracious, friendly, helpful. It is close to so many Santa Rosa area adventures - walking distance to restaurants and stores. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect “base camp” for exploring the many great attractions in and around Sonoma County and the Russian River valley. The cottage was clean, quiet, comfortable and meticulously appointed. Erik and Christmas were attentive and welcoming hosts. We enthusiastically recommend this property.

What a great spot!

The cutest guest house at the hosts home in a wonderful neighborhood. Privacy provided and the owners were so helpful and nice. The gardens were gorgeous and loved all the house plants. Amenities galore! Felt spoiled. Highly recommend!

Lovely JC Neighborhood Cottage

The cottage was fantastic. Clean, comfortable, and even more chill vibes than the photos indicate. A great location, a walkable neighborhood, and very easy to explore Sonoma County. We’ll be back. Thanks for being such great hosts, Christmas & Erik!

Beautiful cottage

This cottage was like new and very pretty and spacious for two. Great privacy. Great host and so helpful. Very nice decor. We are in our mid 70's so the bed was low for us but it was comfortable to sleep on. I recommend this pretty property.

Our Stay - Aug 25-Aug 28

*** Wonderful attention to detail *** We just completed a wonderful 3-night stay here. Everything was perfect - from our arrival to our departure; we wanted for nothing! There was an amazing gift basket of wine and snacks (and even more in the refrigerator) to greet us and a detailed booklet of recommendations locally in Santa Rosa and in Sonoma County. The cottage was perfect for the two of us; it was very spacious with two patio areas for sipping coffee to start the day or having a glass of wine to end it. Downtown Santa Rosa was easily walkable (about a mile) and the Pacific Market grocery store was only about a half-mile away. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe (we made the only noise each morning as we headed out early to the Santa Rosa marathon races on Saturday and Sunday). Santa Rosa and the cottage were absolutely the perfect base for all we wanted to see and do in Santa Rosa and the Dry Creek Valley wineries. We even visited nearby Spring Lake and Lake Howarth parks for some post-race shake out walks. The hosts were incredibly gracious; we had the opportunity to meet them and their dog, Birdie, and visit for a spell one afternoon. Definitely hope to be back for our next visit to the area!

Britt and Traci could not have been more lovely! Our only regret is that we didn’t get to hang out with them more. They were kind, courteous, and left our space in immaculate condition. Five stars in every way!

Amazing cottage - comfortable, welcoming, close to so many wonderful activities. The hosts are truly the best. This was our fourth or fifth time staying there. It is perfect!
