We enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Hideaway and the location worked out very well for us. We attended a wedding in Carbondale, visited the Iron Mountain Hot Springs in Glenwood and hiked in Redstone. This was a great home base. Shelley was a great communicator and provided many recommendations for hiking. The property offered plenty of space for 4 couples and had everything we needed. The view was beautiful! We’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

The house was very nice and clean. The swamp cooler was very noisy and didn’t work great. We spent a lot of time out in the backyard which was beautiful, Unfortunately the sewer smell from the septic system was pretty strong at times. Also glad that we brought our own propane tank for the fire pit since theirs ran out. Overall our stay was very nice and worked well for our families.

We had a wonderful time in Glenwood Springs with our extended family. This house was just outside of town and had amazing views. The house plan was great for multiple families. Plenty of room to spread out and even get some alone time. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were given lots of supplies (kitchen soap, tissues, bathroom supplies) Very quite and peaceful. We saw bunnies, deer and chipmunks. It was super hot when we went and the swamp cooler kept it comfortable in the house during the hottest periods of the day.

Beautiful stay

Visit at the area for family wedding. Stayed with eight adults with plenty of room. Enjoyed the home the ping-pong and the scenery. Host was quick to answer and help with any situations.

Great propery

We stayed three nights and it was great. Communication was for questions and check in/out. The accommodations were terrific. It was a getaway weekend for us including my elderly parents. They were in awe of the views and location. We would recommend this property for sure.

Mountain retreat

Very comfortable house with lots of space, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, amazing table to share a meal or play a game. Great decks and outdoor seating, beautiful view of Mount Sopris. The driveway is indeed very steep and gravel, but adds to the charm of the property.

This is a Hideaway!

The home is an older home but with a lot of modern conveniences. The deck and outside was a great layout. We had a lot of fun playing in the yard. It was a little different finding the house, but good instructions were given. We would definitely stay there again.

Memories Made in the Mountains

Our stay at this beautiful mountain home was nothing short of amazing. The house was thoughtfully set up for guests of all ages, from young kids to adults. We especially appreciated the unexpected baby gate we were able to use at the stairs, which gave us peace of mind with our little ones!The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals, including all the cooking and dining essentials. The home was spotless and very well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived.There were endless activities for everyone to enjoy. The kids (and adults) had a blast with the ping pong and foosball tables, the basketball hoop, and we spent many evenings gathered around the fire table watching the kids enjoy the yard and make crazy s’more combinations!While it's a short drive into town, that bit of distance made the location feel even more serene and private.The views were breathtaking. Enjoying a peaceful coffee on the deck, admiring the mountains was exactly what the soul needed.This home had everything we needed for a memorable and comfortable stay. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain getaway that works for the whole family.

The property was clean, quiet, spacious, and had stunning views! The host was accommodating for our early check in and quick to respond when we had complications with the lock. Cons: The fire pit was out of propane so we couldn’t utilize this amenity. The downstairs microwave would turn on but wouldn’t start, a few outlets didn’t work downstairs and we couldn’t get the Roku to work down their either (not a big deal since there was a microwave and tv upstairs but worth mentioning).Overall it was a solid choice for our trip and would stay again!

Our stay at this VRBO in Glenwood Springs exceeded our expectations! The home truly had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every description in the listing was completely accurate, and the glowing reviews were absolutely deserved.The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could ask for. From the well-equipped kitchen to the thoughtful extras throughout the home, everything was provided to make our stay easy and enjoyable.The location was another huge plus—close to great fishing, hiking, restaurants, and everything Glenwood Springs has to offer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located vacation rental!
