Wonderful, very comfortable and close to everything downtown. We attended a performance at the Louisville Palace which is right next door. I would choose this lodging again

Beautiful property

We were in town visiting distilleries, and stayed in the beautiful historic property. The location was centralized to all the places where we were visiting. Entrance and parking were both secure. We really enjoyed the open air seating on the roof. Will definitely book again when we come back to Louisville.

Everything about this property is top notch!

Lovely condo with a lot of beautiful and unique attributes. Super clean, thoughtful touches, and great location. Communication in ever aspect was amazing. I really appreciated the the very detailed instructions on entering the garage. Zero issues. Would book here again!

Historic bldg, great decor

Great weekend stay for 2 couples on bourbon tour.The unit was very unique and the owner was very accommodating. However, felt that we should have been advised that there is a pet of some kind is either currently or has lived on the premises (for allergy purposes). Kitchen was well equipped.

I'm so glad you had a great time. Service dogs are allowed on all properties per the commonly known federal law. I'm glad you had to ask as not a hair can be found. The penthouse is vacuumed and washed extensively before each stay, the same as the protocol of any 5 star hotel. **I have added an air filtration device that can handle the square footage per your experience. I have also added to my house rules a request for allergies to be reported to the host. ** Accommodating an after midnight check in was afforded to you and your guests as the security of the building can be difficult to maneuver. A confused pre check-in Instacart order was picked up free of charge. In addition, a fortunate, extremely discounted rate was given as required for first guests by VRBO. The host takes pleasure in the ultimate experience for each and every guest, unlike managed properties. The more than a dozen 5 star reviews on the competitor site, show the willingness to do everything to hold onto that standard. A 4 star review is devastating to a 5 star standard. It's lsimilar to not being able to walk up a spiral staircase to the terrace even though it is in many pictures. Then writing a less than perfect review requesting terrace access. A dog is shown in several pictures so anyone is aware that an animal was currently or previously present in the condo without being advised on the site by VRBO or by the host. I am so sorry your harsh animal allergies were bothered during your stay. It would be difficult to mention everything in a description, like animal skin and lamb skin rugs. I'd hope future guests would take responsibility for a 5 star stay by protecting themselves with needed personal questions before booking. Rooftop Location

This was a great location a few blocks from the excitement of the Bourbon Trail and waterfront activities. Short walk or easy Ubers. Due to colder and rainy weather we did not get to experience the roof top. My husband has balance issues and he was able to handle the wide spiral staircase. The owner provides coffee/tea included. Then other snack or beverage items are setup on a payment honor system for your enjoyment. Location is very secure.
