Beautiful house with a view of the city and the Sandia Mountains. Well furnished and very comfortable for hanging out watching the rain. Highly recommend the "El Refugio" for anyone wanting a great place to hangout, sleep and just sit back watching the Sandias change colors at sunset.

This our groups 2nd stay at this property. Very nice with wonderful views of the mountains. We watched fireworks from the nice covered patio. The kitchen was well equipped, the family room was perfect for watching tv with the group. The host was quick to respond on questions.The house is located near shopping, restaurants, and is in a nice well kept neighborhood. Excellent stay!

The property is exactly as advertised. The communication with the owner was excellent. This is the 4th year in a row that we have chosen this home as a base for our small family reunion. Just 4 of us but only two stay at the property. We stay at the same time every year and have enjoyed both the air conditioning some years and the radiant heat in others. Everything needed to prepare and cook meals. The bathrooms are spotless and the gathering area is large and comfortable.Great views to the southern horizon from the roomy covered patio with a fire pit and barbecue close to the patio area.There is a wonderful burbling fountain in the rear patio yard that provides soft sound and is on a time clock.In conclusion, this is an excellent property in a nice but quiet neighborhood not far from shopping for groceries, and easy access to the freeway/highway system for travel and exploring.

Wonderful place!

We absolutely loved our stay and hope to visit again. The place is lovely and the backyard is the perfect place for morning coffee and listening to the birds!

Great Albuquerque Getaway

Although, I was unable to travel due to illness, my family stayed and enjoyed this Albuquerque home. The home was nicely furnished, close to amenities and has a great view.

Our stay was marvelous. It was more than we expected. The view from the patio was gorgeous. Sunrise over the mountains. A peek at the city below with lights gleaming at night was breath-taking. The patio itself was very comfortable, even during the warmer part of the day. It was also very centralized for the exploring we wanted to do of Old Town, Santa Fe, and Taos. One of my favorite stays. I would definitely come back.

The property had everything you could possibly need including a great kitchen. We even got to watch balloons flying over in the mornings while sipping coffee. The art work in the house was really a feast for the eyes.

Yes clean place, beautiful Mountain View, it was cold weather the heating system worked well.The only downside was the office room bed was not really a bed hard as a rock. It would be best if they replace with a real bed, we did enjoy the area.

Beautiful Home

The house was exactly as described. Very nice with a nice backyard area. The location was great for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The owners were attentive and helpful.

Great Location

The property is in a quiet neighborhood yet close to amenities and easy routes to Corrales and Albuquerque. The home is spacious and clean. The fountain in back is tranquil.

Rio Rancho

The home was beautiful! We had such a good time on the patio, the unique lighting in the alcoves were a gift in the morning and at night. It’s the BEST vrbo we’ve ever stayed at.

An amazing week in a beautiful home

We stayed here for the Balloon Fiesta and had a great time. Close to anything you could need and great views of morning launches while drinking coffee in back yard. Hosts were great and the house was everything we expected. 👍😁

Albuquerque Delight

This home was in a perfect place for family base of operations. Close enough to everything from Santa Fe to Madrid to Chimayo. Tastefully appointed and equipped. The backyard with its fountain was an oasis every evening. Will book it again next year.

Very clean, spacious house. We initially didn't realize the third bedroom is an office with a futon (it does say this, but didn't realize from pictures), but our girls slept in the twin beds and it worked out well. Well stocked house and loved the outdoor space. The hosts were very quick to respond and left very clear directions. Very easy check out. Safe neighborhood. We went for the Balloon Fiesta and the location was perfect for this.

The house was exactly as advertised. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. The back patio was very relaxing to enjoy in the afternoons and looking at the mountain. We never touched a thermostat because the temperature in the house was perfect. The house was located near shopping or whatever you might need. Very nice and quiet neighborhood. The host was available to answer any questions we had. The house was excellent for our party of four

Enchanted NM Week

The house is as delightful in person as the photos show! We loved the mountain view, babbling fountain, morning sightings of hot air balloons, the well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, the overall charm of the bright, art-filled space, and the peaceful neighborhood so close to many amenities. Joseph was a responsive host. My two teens and I give a hearty thumbs up!
