My 6th visit...The privacy, the peace and quiet and view of the tidal river make the 8 hour trip worthwhile. The location perfect for day trips to Lubec and Acadia.

Nice view could use some upgrading of the beds, more pots for cooking. Location good, great place to buy fresh steamer clams from the local clam diggers! Also pet friendly nice quite relaxing neighborhood !

Great location, right on the water, but very active tides. if you just want a view and don't need bay access from the property, this is a great choice. Peaceful and quiet, lots of room to spread out and enjoy the indoors when you're not out and about. Town is cute but also very quiet. Everything was just right for our two week stay

Great location

This cottage is a cozy, quiet, private retreat. Beautiful views. Great location to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Wonderful time, quiet and location was absolutely beautiful. House was dated but quaint and fit our family. Cleanliness was ok and a couple things could use an update but overall, we had a great time and would stay there again!!

Gorgeous quite waterfront cottage.

A magical vacation

We absolutely loved the cabin. The views were mesmerizing. I sat for hours watching the landscape change. It was in a good location with access to things we wanted to see & do.Thank you!

Enjoy the quiet & nature

Very pleasant. My second year staying here. Nice location on the bay & easy drive north along the coast or south to Schoodic & Acadia.

We enjoyed our stay. The view is great and so is the location. Milbridge is a great little town, and makes for a great base for short day trips to surrounding communities, including MDI. The cabin itself is fairly rustic, but has most of the necessary creature comforts one expects. Water pressure was a bit low and the bed was not very comfortable, but that is partly a matter of preference.

Downeast Maine and Acadia Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Smoke Cottage. The quiet location on the bay was beautiful and the tidal changes each day were amazing. The cottage was spotless and stocked with everything we needed. We spent so much time sightseeing in the area that I wish we had more time to simply relax on the bay. Thank you for a great stay!

Sea smoke

Serene, and calming, but still close enough to go to bars and restaurants as well as hiking and sightseeing. Just what we were looking for

Thanks for your feedback! Milbridge is a lovely little fishing village just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, but close enough to enjoy day trips. The village itself does have what you need in terms of places to eat and activities to keep you entertained. So glad you enjoyed your stay!

Great week

We had a great time at Sea Smoke cottage. The cottage had everything we needed. It was clean well taken care if. We loved watching the tides roll in and out.

Happy Jack

Our week at Sea Smoke was a lovely, quiet break during a hectic summer. It was an idyllic Downeast Maine sea cottage experience for us and our Labrador, Jack. We’ll be back!

Relaxing Waterfront Property

Nice cottage directly on water. Relaxed while watching the tide go in and out. While out, watched the fisherman clamming right in front of us. Enjoyed walking our dog on the rural road, speaking with local residents.Location is perfect for exploring Downeast Maine from Mt Desert Isl to Lubec. The town Milbridge has everything you need for your stay.
