I cannot put into words how beautiful and well kept this property was. My wife and I celebrated our 19 year wedding anniversary here and it was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, the environment was quiet, and the views were spectacular and the morning deer visits were appreciated. It was off the beaten path, but still close enough to get to anywhere in Ft Worth / Dallas within a reasonable time. My wife is already looking at the calendar to book it again in the future!

We enjoyed our recent stay! The home was just as advertised. Very clean, beautiful, and we truly felt at home. The house was close to the wedding venue and we had plenty of room for our guest. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away and spend some time on beautiful Eagle Mountain lake. Thank you!

Oh my gosh, this was the most beautiful place. Was there for my son’s wedding and had the Pastor staying with us. Was so impressed on the decor, cleanliness and just the overall atmosphere. What a magnificent job you did in renovating this old farm house. We can’t wait to come back.

Perfect house for our family while attending a wedding at Grace Manor Events…the venue is less than 10 minutes away! The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals at home. The house is beautifully renovated and is cozy and comfortable…a home away from home. The view is wooded and there is a great deck to enjoy as the sun sets. It was even enjoyable with a breeze in this August heat. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. There is a great dock that we used. We brought rafts and enjoyed floating in the lake. The primitive stairs down to the dock are not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. What a treat to spend time with family in this well appointed lake house!

Lovely lake retreat!

Such a beautiful, immaculate home! Perfect location- so much to see and do! Owners are very responsive- we had no issues though. We certainly enjoyed our stay!!

The location was perfect being so close to downtown Fort Worth. The property was amazing with a great dock. We brought our boat and enjoyed our time at the lake. The cove was perfect. The house decor was beautiful and the beds were comfy!!! I would definitely recommend to others and stay again!!!

Everything was perfect! We brought our boat and went out every day for fishing and tubing, so the boat dock and lift made it so easy. Check-in was super easy and the house was clean and welcoming. We have family in Rhome, TX, so we hope to stay there again soon!

This is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very clean and feels like home. Juliet was very responsive as we had an issue with the gate to exit and they got someone out to fix it promptly. Access to the lake isn’t ideal but we don’t need it. If you’re looking to access the lake it is an extremely steep walk to get to the water. They do have signs posted for your information and safety.

We have lovingly and thoughtfully restored this 1945 farmhouse in 2021-2022. We invite you to enjoy the cozy, relaxing interior and the quiet, tranquil exterior. We fell in love with this property because of the peaceful, natural setting. The grounds surrounding the property are purposely not overly manicured, as we prefer to preserve the natural grasses and growth for the native wildlife. The wildflowers in the spring are absolutely gorgeous, the lake offers endless fun in the summer, and leaves and sunsets in the fall are picture worthy. We always enjoy watching the deer that frequent the property morning and evening. The lot is lakefront and sits high above the water offering spectacular views; however, the very rustic path down to the lake is steep and uneven.

Deer Hollow's location is absolutely perfect for enjoying hiking, dining, shopping, and events on the west side of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Eagle Mountain Lake hiking trails are a short 6 minute drive. The Fort Worth Stockyards are just 30 minutes away, as is one of our personal favorites - Lonesome Dove Bistro. To the north, and just over 30 minutes away, is the Tanger Outlets offering great outlet shopping. Texas Motor Speedway is a 30-40 minute drive for our racing enthusiast friends. To the south, the Forth Worth Museum of Science & History is approximately 30 minutes and the Fort Worth Zoo is approximately 40 minutes away. There's so much to explore in the Fort Worth area, this is just a small sampling to get your creative ideas flowing.
