If your looking for something cheap, simple, but clean and close, this is a good option! It was a quick walk to the beach, private acess to the beach, kitchen, bedroom with pull out couch for extra guest. It didnt have a beach view, but it made up with the easily acess to the beach!

Road Trip

The unit was as described it was very close to the beach and restaurants, would stay again. It was very clean the pool was heated and everyone in the area were nice.

The location is great, place is cozy, bed is comfy, great for one person or a couple and communication is good. If you have to choose between this place and a private owner (not a management company) choose the private owner. It was hard to enjoy our vaycay leading up to it and during for multiple reasons. You get bombarded by emails and txts some that threaten fees if you arrive early and things like “Treat the place like it’s your own home”. They’re very strict about no sand in the unit, I would expect to get sand in my home near the beach but not this place. We mopped and swept everyday cause we worried about getting fees because there’s sand in the unit AT THE BEACH. I’ve stayed at places where you come, stay and leave with no worries, with this company you get a long list of check out procedures, if you miss something expect to get a fine, multiple emails, and a long list of rules. Also, two rolls of toilet paper is not enough.

We’re sorry, however, that aspects of your experience left you feeling stressed leading up to and during your vacation. We certainly understand that some sand is a natural part of a beach vacation, and guests are not expected to mop or sweep daily. Our checkout requests are simply to dispose of trash and food, start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes, and check for personal belongings; linens can remain on the beds. We also provide a starter supply of household essentials, with additional supplies typically needed depending on the length of stay and individual needs. We appreciate your feedback regarding the volume and tone of our communications and will keep it in mind as we continue evaluating the guest experience.

Vacation with toddlers

Location is amazing. Had to bring everything for my twins as rental does not have high chairs and cribs. Other than that, we loved our stay!

Grandma's old place

This place is begging for some renovation. Everything is super old, but owners are being cheap on everything and are charging same premium prices as everyone else who actually renovate their properties. We just decided on a 1 week vacation last minute, and there's a reason this was still available last minute. But it's close to the beach, across the street...

Exactly as promised

Chataeu Le Mer is delightfully low key for Destin. Bobbies condo just as depicted. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen, and quick walk to the beach. Not exactly luxurious but I didn't expect it to be. Enjoyed the patio out back.

Beautiful Condo with Great Location

Condo was extremely clean and comfortable. No issues with any bugs as stated in other review. It's on the ground level with a nice back patio with a large green space. We loved that we were right across the street from the beach access and could ride our bikes anywhere. We didn't need to drive anywhere the entire trip. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have 2 sets of towels so I didn't have to do laundry. We had to share a wash rag. Bring your own trash bags, TP, and paper towels. Overall a lovely place to stay and we would book again!

Roaches all over the apartment and extremely dirty.

We would like a refund back. The apartment was extremely dirty and we found roaches every single night that we had to leave our vacation early

When the exterminator came by he found no roaches or any sign of them. All the guest prior to your stay and the guest this week have had no issues. My housekeeper is one of the best in town and the past reviews state how clean this condo is.
