Had a great stay at the Dragonfly inn. The house was impeccably clean and organized and we loved its location on the lake. Hillers was very good at communications—they checked in on us and it was very reassuring.

Nice location on the lake. Deer come right up to deck. Easy to find.

The view was absolutely beautiful, the ease to get to the lake was nice to have, and the animals such as deer, eagles, and loons was the best we have ever had. The communication with HIllers was great, no issues. Now on to the property, I will send Hillers more details, but I have to say this property needs work in order for me to stay there again. I have stayed at many cabins in the north woods and know what to expect but this one did not meet the basics. We left a day early due to issues experienced and felt - I know we could have reported them early on but it would not have had the time to complete them all during our stay. The potential is there it needs the work.

Summer getaway

Lovely accommodation and access to water, nearby activities, restaurants and shopping. Staff very helpful with a few minor inquiries, always pleasant and checking in on our satisfaction. Hiller really does a nice job. We got our pontoon from them too! Made it so easy, right at the dock for us.

Big st Germain lake

It was a nice enough cabin. Parking was poor for snowmobiling. Inside the house was clean. The master bedroom looks out over a half burned shed, but the squirrels who lived there didn't seem to mind. Enjoyable weekend cabin, gorgeous lake.

No communication. No key to house left. We had to leave the house unlocked all weekend. 6" of snow and ice in the driveway when we arrived. Tvs didnt work, ice cold in the basment while the upstairs was hot.

We are terribly sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay, but want to be clear that we were in touch with you via text throughout your stay and had replaced the missing key by 11am the morning after your arrival. We also tried to call you several times but your voicemail box was full. You didn't report any issues with the property's temperature until after departure and never messages through the VRBO portal about any issue. Our staff is available any time during your stay to help with any issue that may arrise.

The property was very nice. It was very easy to reach host with any issues. It was very cold downstairs, even with heat on upstairs though, so it got very cold at night. They did provide ample blankets though, and did offer to bring space heaters if needed. The toilets seemed really low, making it difficult for older people in our group. Stairs to lake were very good...railing on right side very helpful. The driveway was surprisingly steep and keeping multiple vehicles down by house made maneuvering around difficult, but you were able to park at the top of hill as well, so that helped. No stairs into lake, but it was somewhat level, so older people in our group got in and out of lake with little issue.
