Before our trip, communication with the host, Trish, was excellent. When we arrived, the condo was clean and ready. The grounds of Maui Vista were immaculate and the view from the lanai was perfect. We were very happy everything was as described, and will definitely stay again!

Fantastic location! Very well supplied- great assortment of dishes and glasses, good AC in living area and bedroom. Comfy bed. Easy instructions for entry. Some things need updating but nothing that upset our trip. Very responsive to questions and concerns. Didn’t give a 5 b/c it is in need of updates

Perfect location.

Beach is just across the street, with protected cross walk. Tons of food just a short walk. Property is BEAUTIFUL.

Very nice for small family

Property was across the street from Kamaole 1 Beach, and an easy walk. Big plus for being equipped with beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkel and boogie stuff.

First the view was perfect. You could watch the sunset from the lanai. Second was location. Charles Young Beach access was directly across the road, close to restaurants hwy access, Markets and Kihei’s weather and beaches are exactly why you travel to Maui. The resort had private pools and BBQ areas and the room had everything you needed. Full kitchen with washer and dryer. We will be back. Mahalo

Close to beach

Listing is accurate, lovely sunset views from the small deck. We could also see whales breaching from the deck. Great location, can easily walk to a number of restaurants/food trucks.

Exactly as advertised

I would stay here again. The location and view are perfect. The unit is dated and needs some work, but was safe, clean, and functional. You will need to get your own coffee, coffee filters, shampoo and shower soap.

The shower head should be changed so it can swivel. It is pointing towards the shower wall and difficult to use. The location of the unit is over a very busy street and is really noisy. I was not expecting that.

Great location but quite a few bugs

Great location but thus place could use a deep clean. We saw little cockroaches in kitchen area as well.

Aloha and thanks for your review. I wanted to provide an update to our future guests that a deep clean has been done in the unit since this review. The building at Maui vista also has pest control service but please keep in mind the island of Maui is very tropical and there are many bugs as a result. We will continue to do our best to ensure the unit is clean and is provided pest control routinely. Mahalo!

The air conditioning was effective. Having us of a washing machine was great after a day of hiking or at the beach. The view was spectacular. The dishwasher was a challenge until we realized the drawers were in backwards and blocking the soap dispenser. The shelves in the oven were also in backwards. The shower created a huge puddle in the bathroom until we realized the tiled lip of the shower under the glass was installed draining out. We noticed the remnants of some silicone grout on the tile at the opening of the glass. We reapplied this and we had no more issues with water. The apartment was a perfect location with an amazing view. The inside, although older, was sufficient. We would return.

Vary nice place with an AWESOME view

We enjoyed our stay greatly and decided when we come back we're going to try and book this exact property. Was perfect for two ladies having a 3 day stay. We didn't cook but did use the washer and dryer using the soap provided. Used the sink to wash cups and such. The plates and bowls were abundant.
