This beautiful home is situated on 14 wooded acres within view of Netarts Bay with over two acres of lawns and flower beds. The setting of this rental is UNIQUE -- peace and solitude near ocean adventures and seaside parks. Enjoy seeing deer, elk, hummingbirds and a wide variety of other birds and wildlife. A nature lovers paradise! IN WINTER, A GREAT BASE FOR STORM WATCHING or getting caught up on work or relaxation!

Relax with your friends and/or loved ones in your house at Whiskey Creek. The home features five bedrooms, 2-car garage, two large gathering areas, large deck, covered front porch and private deck off the master bedroom; a great value for a family vacation, small groups, a honeymoon or business retreats.

Just 90 minutes from Portland; great restaurants, secluded beaches and non-commercialized surroundings. Cape Meares Lighthouse, Cape Lookout State Park, Sand Lake and Cape Kiwanda are just some of the nearby attractions. Netarts Bay provides clamming, crabbing, fishing and boat rental. Nightlife is just 45 minutes south at Lincoln City’s Chinook Winds Casino. Tillamook is 10 miles to the east and has theaters, bowling, golf and more.

We loved our stay at The Retreat at Whiskey Creek! The nature trail with its informative guide was fantastic and really created a wonderful sense of place. Netarts is a gem!

This was our second stay at this lovely property. It is a wonderful place for children-our 4 grandchildren enjoyed running around outside and exploring. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked and all appliances are in working condition. Highly recommend a stay here!

I would stay here every year - traveling with a group the retreat at Whisky creek is the best VRBO I have ever used. Accommodations were wonderful, space was amazing, and the nature on the property was breathtaking. I cannot speak more highly about this place from the renter, to the cleaning staff, and hope to come again!

The house and property are absolutely stunning! The furnishings could use a major update though. Couches are old and very stained. Mattresses are lumpy, hard and old. Towels were old, smelly and all mismatching. New linens, and mattresses would go a long way especially because it is such a luxurious home as far as the setting. We loved the grounds though and the hiking trail was very cool.

I can't disagree with this guest's comments. I can only say that the landscape maintenance. county short-term rental requirements and other fixed costs keep us struggling to stay above water financially. We have and will continue to address the other issues slowly but surely.

The property was terrific, and the photos don’t do it justice! It’s conveniently close to Cape Lookout, and the house has a very private and secluded feel, even though it’s not too far off the road. It was clean, and the owner was easy to work with.

This was our second time to spend a week here with family. This property is a real gem. Lots of room for large families or groups. Lots of privacy. The kitchen is well stocked if you are planning on cooking. The host is very helpful.

Great place for family weekend!

This home is lovely! The grounds are unbelievably gorgeous. The home is comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a family or friends getaway. The location is perfect - minutes from Tillamook, Netarts, Cape Lookout. The owner and local manager super easy to communicate with. Everything was perfect. We will definitely return!

The grounds are out-of-this-world magical, totally unexpected and really the highlight of this stay. The house is large and provides ample bathrooms for all. Gorgeous views of the bay from the second floor and foyer. Kind and communicative host. We enjoyed it very much.

Steve Matiaco of Forest Hills Builders worked in the Forest Grove area and on the coast for twelve years. When he came across this property, the view was what caught his eye. He purchased the property, cleared a portion of it and carefully constructed the home where it would capture a view of Netarts Bay and the surrounding forested mountains. In 2013, Jim & Dawn Fazio of Moscow, Idaho, joined Steve as partners and in 2015 became its managers. All love and enjoy the peaceful setting, panoramic views and nearby coastal features.

Guide booklets are in the house for your use.
