Desert, it offers easy access to Acadia National Park and other attractions, in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Go hiking, biking, sailing, whale watching, site seeing and shopping, all just minutes from the house.
Bar Harbor Hikers Dream has a beautiful vaulted ceiling, open concept living/dining/kitchen area. This one floor living 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom home is new and well appointed. It is truly a hikers dream space to relax and enjoy the areas amenities so close by.
There is a sliding glass door out onto a spaicous deck to eat and grill. Watch the kids play in the private yard on the jungle gym while you plan your day. Relax outside in the evening under the stars that are so close you feel like you can touch that shooting star.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your family and guests!! There is a beautiful granite countertop and island with plenty of pots and pans, kitchen gadgets and dinnerware.
There is a full bathroom behind new sliding barn doors off the living room, and two bedrooms both with full sized beds.
The master bedroom has a gorgeous en suite bathroom. You will find yourself in luxury with this new walk in shower, soaker tub and spacious storage. The large bedroom has a king bed, TV, plenty of room and a walk in closet.
There is high speed 5G wifi, a smart TV with streaming, a new heat pump/AC, and toys/games for the kids, and a fire pit for your enjoyment!
Close by:
Approximately 5 miles to downtown Bar Harbor and 3 miles Acadia National Park trails. Shopping, site seeing, restaurants, lakes and beach all within minutes from the house.

House was very cute and has a nice open floor plan with a lovely kitchen and lots of seating. The deck was sunny and very comfortable. Great location close to Acadia and Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Lobster Pound near the house was our most favorite. Quiet neighborhood and easy accessibility from main roads. Would recommend!!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for five nights. The house is spacious, comfortable and in a great location for the area. We liked that it was near Bar Harbor and Acadia NP, but in a quiet area away from the crowds! There are a lot of kids toys and games and even outdoor playset making this a perfect home for a family outing. It would also be a great couples getaway or even a girls getaway vacation rental. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to return if we come back to this area.

What a wonderful spot. So private, no other houses visible. We truly enjoyed our stay, and there were many small touches that made travelling with a young child that much easier. Communication with the host was also quick and efficient, and problems were dealt with immediately. Looking forward to when we are next able to stay.

We absolutely loved the property. Very spacious, stocked kitchen, lots of activities for kids. We looked forward to going back to the property each afternoon to enjoy the play set and yard. The management company was super accommodating and very easy to work with. Already looking forward to a trip back in the near future.

The house is perfectly located in the island. It was easy to go on hikes or head into town for dinner and shopping. The hosts were so attentive and reachable.

Nice apartment and good location. However the second bedroom was not presented as it was in the photos. In the photographs it shows a double bed with bedside tables and lamps either side of the bed. In reality the double bed is pushed up against a wall and there was no bedside tables or lamps.

This property was perfect in every way! The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials. They had plenty of toys for my 3 year old to enjoy inside as well as a swing set outside. The host was quick to respond to any needs and we have absolutely zero complaints. We would definitely book again!

We loved our stay here. The house was spotless, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, perfect location to get to Acadia and downtown in minutes, it was so quiet at night to sleep peacefully! We have nothing but good things to say about our stay here!

Great location

It was the perfect spot to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! It was very clean and spacious for 6 adults. We loved the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living room.

Perfect family base for visiting Acadia National Park

The house was very clean, the kitchen was stocked and great for making family meals, the fire pit was a fun end to our days of hiking, and the property was so close to the national park. The rental company and owner were both very responsive.

Great getaway

Great July 4 week family vacation

We planned a trip to Bar Harbor with my son and his family and chose this home based on reviews, pictures and location. We were not disappointed. This home is in the perfect location. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice that there were spices and some pantry staples available. The master was great but the other 2 bedrooms only had double beds and would suggest queens. The children loved the toys and games that were in the house. e. The kids also enjoyed the jungle gym and s’mores by the fire pit. One of the neighbors owned an oyster company and sold them by the dozen on the honor system - what a treat for us! We were concerned about being able to park in Bar Harbor and it was so convenient for us to go to the Acadia National Park visitors center and hop on the free Island Express shuttle. We were close to the park, lobster pounds breweries, and the national park. We made many wonderful memories during this vacation.

Perfect Acadia Getaway

My family of 4 loved this house. Very clean, well-stocked and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for all of our adventures in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Highly Recommend!

Wilderness retreat

Couldn’t ask a nicer place to stay. House was lovely, new, well kept, and well stocked all the way around. The property manager was quite attentive to our needs, even texting me weather updates while my family and I were driving to the coast during a Hurricane! Many wonderful memories were made in the area. Highly recommend the property and manager, Susan.

Great access to Bar Harbor and Acadia

Perfect location for hiking and biking in Acadia and to the great restaurants and shopping in Bar Harbor. We highly recommend this comfortable home for 6 adults or a family with children. Quiet neighborhood and great deck.
