The location was perfect, close to the beach and town. The resort that manages it was wonderful. The are great about keeping in touch, and are there when you need anything with a smile and a kind word. They are also lovely about helping you plan your trip by arranging transportation and tours for you. It was a great trip.

Location can't be beat!

Casa Roja is in an excellent location! Just a short walk to a great beach for surfing and a short walk into town for shops and restaurants. We loved having the pool for post surf sessions and to cool off in the hot afternoons and the concierge at the hotel was very helpful, as was the daily maid service.

Such a great time!!

Perfect location if you have surfers!!! Close proximity to restaurants and downtown Nosara! We will be back for sure!

Rest

Great place to stay and relax. Close to the beach. Quiet. (Except for the howler monkeys). Great place to eat outside. Will return again.

The pool was the best part! We were there when it was 90 everyday and the pool was our hangout. We could walk right through the hotel and get our surfboards and go surfing anytime. It was so convenient. We rented boards from safari surf school and they were very accommodating and friendly. Everyone was so nice at hotel Olas verdes. They own the house and provided everything we needed. The house was the perfect size for the five of us. We walked into town to get groceries at the organic grocery store or went out to eat at the many restaurants. We walked to Miss Sky for zip lining and also cafe Luna for an amazing breakfast. The cove in front of cafe Luna has great snorkeling. I also recommend a visit to Sibiu wildlife sanctuary. We learned a lot about the area and the plight of the howler monkeys. We also saw and heard the howlers everyday in the yard of the house. I can’t wait to go back!
Don’t miss the sunset on guiones beach!
