This property is in close proximity to all amenities including shopping, recreational & sports facilities.
Halifax Regional Municipality has recently added a 3% marketing levy shown as an $8.58/3% per night administration fee

Great stay in a beautiful place

What a great place to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We loved our week here. Watching deer at breakfast was an added bonus.

What a wonderful stay

What an absolutely wonderful place. Beautiful views of the bay, sunsets, boats and local wildlife. Centrally located to all the must see places yet private and quiet for lots of relaxing on the front deck. Everything you need and more in this well appointed and supplied cottage on the ocean. Nick was an awesome host and made sure that everything was perfect for our arrival. We will absolutely be back. You will not be disappointed with this place!

Canadian Getaway

Everything was very clean. All we would need while there was available. The view was amazing. Seeing the deer family almost every day was pretty special. Not too far to many lovely attractions, and when back at the cottage, it .was to a world of relaxation. We had our bedroom windows open at night and the breeze was perfect for sleeping. The cottage size was perfect for us, but could have a family as there were 3 bedrooms and would be very comfortable. I would love to return for another visit. It was nice to get to meet Nick.

NOVA SCOTIA SPLENDOUR

What a beautiful place to unwind and relax with our family. We love the outdoors, and spent most of it outside. The beach, deer, and other local wildlife was amazing. Close to amenities if you need them. We would definitely recommend picking up some lobster from ryers lobsters and cooking them at the cottage. Yummy yum.

Perfect

The cottage is lovely. Beautiful spot right overlooking the water. All the amenities and more were present and the welcome basket was an amazing touch. We'll be back !

St Margaret's Bay View

Property was as described, clean with a breath taking view into St Margaret's Bay. Being here on a business trip it was convenient to the local yacht club where we ran training from. The BBQ was an added bonus enabling to enjoy some awesome evening meals.

wow!!!

Just as advertised! Wow what a great location. Very clean, very well equipped pots pans dishes linens, I love to cook and found everything I needed for our 19 day stay. Paper products cleaning products, But really what impressed was the wildlife. A seagull who had 3 crabs for breakfast on the beach directly in front of us, two pair of Canada geese with a combined 10 chicks, a pair of ducks with 5 ducklings and a beautiful pair of bald eagles. every day great blue herons fishing for our enjoyment, a sea otter, cormorants fishing all just amazing, And finally Nick our host was great we had a small glitch with wi-fi and he immediately got us a call from the provider, Done. Very responsive. n

A peaceful, beautiful setting

We loved the everchanging view and colourful sunsets through the front windows. Deer, ducks and geese visited. The cottage was well stocked and comfortable. As soon as we arrived, Nick was on the phone asking if we needed anything. His welcome basket was most thoughtful. It was easy to drive to the grocery store in one direction and to Peggy's Cove in the other. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday and access to my art workshops.

Gorgeous Location

This property is well situated for visiting Halifax and much of the south shore area. It's located in a private, quiet neighbourhood. The cottage is cozy and the host is more than helpful. A very enjoyable stay!

Sweetest cottage in a beautiful location

Spotless, roomy cottage with a gorgeous view and very thoughtful details including books, games, pantry essentials, and lovely welcome basket. Superbes vacances

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse au chalet de Nick ! L'emplacement est idéal! Ni trop près ni trop loin de la ville, beaucoup de commodité ... et que dire de la plage privée ! MAGNIFIQUE !!! Le son des vagues tout au long de la journée, la quiétude ... tout y était pour passer un bon moment. C'était propre et très joli. Nick nous a laissé un super beau panier de bienvenue, nous nous sommes régalés !

We loved this vrob in Peggys Cove. The beach is perfect for kids to play and swim. The cottage is modern and roomy. Close to everthing we wanted to explore this time in Nova Scotia 💕 Great hosts and a great time had at Saint Margarets Bay!

Great south shore location

Comfortable stay in a great location very convenient for trips to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg. Friendly and readily available host. Really loved Shaw’s Landing restaurant nearby, as well as treats from White Sail. Was lucky to be there during the annual Peggy’s Cove Festival of the Arts. Note the small beach is not private and on nice days will be visited by others.

Lovely cottage in amazing location ❤️

My husband and I stayed for a week along with my parents and two young children. The views from the whole front of the cottage were amazing, you are literally steps from the water. My son (a huge nature enthusiast) was over the moon about the crabs and starfish he found. The cottage was immaculate and we arrived to a welcome basket of yummy foods, much appreciated after driving for 11 hrs! The location was excellent and allowed us easy access to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Lunenberg and others along the south shore. A perfect family getaway ❤️

Perfect Getaway!

This was our second visit to this lovely cottage, first was 6 years ago. A perfect location, with great proximity to Peggy's Cove, Halifax, and of course, Ryer's Lobster! Wonderful restaurants also in the vicinity. Open, airy, fully equipped, and steps to the beach. Wonderful neighbours. Thanks again, Nick!

Very Enjoyable Stay

My husband , myself and our two poodles had a lovely stay in this well equipped, very clean ‘summer home’. Well located for picking up a few incidentals at the grocery stores. Our adult kids stayed the last night and we had a fire on the beach. A welcome basket was left for us brimming with all sorts of goodies. Only downside is that once booked it is 100% non refundable which presents quite a risk if you book 9 months in advance 😉

My family has enjoyed this property since the 1960's. It is located on pristine & unspoiled St Margarets Bay which provides a fabulous venue for water sports of all types. Beautiful western exposure and sunsets are the hall mark of this property. My family uses this cottage for family gatherings and enjoys the quaint character of this former fishing and farming community. The property is within easy driving distance to walking and biking trails, championship golf courses, shopping museums and many historic and picturesque villages and towns
