Unique cove beach surrounding, beautiful, tranquil, and private, this water front house is in the famous beach town Chester(Lunenburg County), NS. It is located in the Chester Golf Course Membership area, only 5 minutes from Chester center, Chester Playhouse or Yacht Club, 10 minutes from Queensland Beach, 10 minutes to Mahone bay, Lunenburg, and 40 minutes from downtown Halifax. Great location for day trips nearby saltwater beaches, Peggy's Cove, Annapolis Valley, Hubbards Farmer's Market, etc.
There is a secluded and lovely small white sandy beach, just one property away from our house.
How to get there: You turn right (east) from our driveway entrance and walk past my neighbor's house number 133. Beside their driveway, you may see a metal fence toward to the south to the ocean. You may just follow the fence and walk along the bush jangle path, it is not far and you will be there.

Cove side cottage

A well equipped cottage and beautifully appointed on a protected cove. Beautiful deck, comfortable beds, great kitchen and nice to have to have access to washer/dryer. This was just what we were looking for - relaxation with ocean views.

Piece of paradise by the sea

Spent a wonderful 10 days in this delightful property right on the water. Very relaxing. Home was well appointed and spacious. Host very accommodating and responsive. Beautiful views from decks and the unit itself. Would stay here again.

By lake...

The driveway was VERY steep and lose gravel....hard to turn around....finally decided to back down driveway...very scary.... This was NOT a separate house, but half of a house that was turned into a rental on half.... Washer and dryer was shared by owner and their clothes in a basket by W/D. The location was peaceful sitting and listening to the water of the lake.

Fun at the Cottage

We had a lovely time. The cottage had everything we needed. The private dock was wonderful. And the owner was very helpful and responsive.

As a musician & violinist (husband), and a IT expert and also a violin player (wife), they have had been travelling and working in many countries around the world. They finally settled down in this beautiful Atlantic coast. They used to go out to see the world, and now they open their doors to welcome the world in.

With expansive ocean views, sheltered and private with perennial gardens and decks, backed by hill, surrounded by apple trees, hawthorn trees, maple trees, wild roses, blue berries, raspberries, plus spacious lawn land.... the tree house feeling from the mature tree canopy combined with the mesmerizing sparkling water views and the soothing sounds of waves lapping below, create an intoxicating serenity. This is an idea place let you forget the hustle and bustle of outside world, enjoy the moment with your beloved ones.

You can lie on a deck chair on the seaside platform, let the sea breeze caress your face, and let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. You can also go boating and swim on the cove. There is a secluded sandy beach near to the property about 200 meters away. You may access it via a hidden bush path (not directly from the property). If you're looking for a lively nightlife, there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the town center not far away. Even to Halifax city, it's only a 35-minute driving distance.
