This suite is perfectly situated if you are in town for a short trip or extended stay. The building is situated in a clean, quiet residential neighborhood adjacent to many local favorite restaurants, stores, trails, and bus routes. This unit comes modestly furnished, but is set up to met 99% of demands. Whatever you come to Anchorage for, this unit will meet your need. Bedrooms contain quality queen-sized beds which can be furnished with temperpedic toppers upon request. Bathrooms come with soaps provided complimentary, and have both tub and shower. Kitchen comes fully prepared and stocked with cutlery and utensils.

Great Experience

we enjoyed our stay in this bnb. The place was clean and homey. Lovely area, wasn’t too loud. Perfect location, being near stores and other activities. Was the perfect stay for 2 people.

Nothing to like about that place, we got there and everything was dirty, they didn't even make the bed prior to out check in. We had to wash the bed sheets and blanket ourselves, there was trash all over the little living room and bathroom the old couch were dirty. We took a video on how we found the place and I called the number to report it and the guy who answered got mad because I woke him up at 6:50 am. Horrible service.

Great short term stay

Great location for a brief stay in Anchorage. Good communication and check-in process. Locating property at night was a challenge as hoyse numbers are not clearly displayed . Would stay again. Very clean and comfortable.

Anchorage midtown stay

We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to many things. It's within easy walking distance of Walmart. Communication with the host was good. The bed was comfortable.

Not bad for a short stay.

Overall it wasn’t a bad stay for one night, had a small miscommunication with the passcode being change and the kitchen didn’t have many utensil's to cook with but we made it work. It’s not bad at all for a night or two close to town and all the activities.

Great little spot

We loved this apartment for two separate one night stays during a long Alaska trip. Close to everything. It had everything you could want (except we couldn’t find a toaster!) and the washer and dryer was awesome to have. Comfy bed and good water pressure for showers. The host was kind enough to let us check in early too.

Anchorage Eureka Street

It was a great stay and really liked the cozy feeling of the apartment and the cleanliness. Wished there would have been a little laundry soap provided to wash the bath towels and wash cloth in there was only one set provided.

Perfect home for our week in Anchorage, Whittier, Girdwood, Seward

This was exactly what we needed and beyond our expectations in terms of location, layout, comfort, and amenities. Host is quickly responsive to all questions and needs. Well stocked kitchen for cooking (which we did most of the time). Quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to several great restaurants, brewery, and grocery store. 5 minute Lyft ride to downtown; great hub for driving north and/or south along Highway 1.

Good, not great

The apartment was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was bare minimum - only one regular sized spoon. The owner never responded when we had a question about the thermostat; that was very disappointing. Luckily, the apartment warmed up after we closed the window that had been left open. Overall a good space in a good location.

Anchorage VRBO

The VRBO had strong cleaner smell when we opened the door. Made my eyes water after opening windows for a few minutes it was fine. If you need to reach Corbin during your visit hopefully he responds. We never heard back from him during our stay. Luckily it wasn’t an emergency. There was only one cereal spoon and no dish towel or dishcloth. I dropped something under the bed and noticed it needed a little attention.

For what I needed - just a couple nights stay - it was fine. The mattress was ok, but all the pillows were pretty much the same thickness and the cases kept slipping off the slick surfaces. It was nice to have the washer and dryer and the kitchen had all I needed. My biggest complaint is that you could hear the TV/music of the neighbors on either side of the bedroom and the sound of the folks above tromping around and dropping things. The home is in a residential neighborhood and there’s a 5-10 minute walk to get food. Fortunately, since I suffered a massive allergy attack to something blooming or pollinating in Anchorage and wasn’t up to doing all the sightseeing I had planned, I can vouch that Door Dash delivers quickly and easily to the property.

Some pros and cons

Pros: centrally located, comfortable bed, nice shower Cons: not a great neighborhood (lots of panhandlers and a homeless "camp" just a few blocks away), washer/dryer is located in the bedroom so don't plan on doing laundry in the evening (and hope the person in the unit upstairs isn't doing laundry at night, as they were when we stayed). When we checked in around 3:45 pm, we were looking forward to showers after hiking, but all the towels in the bathroom had recently been removed from the washer & not dried. The owner got new towels to us in about the same amt of time as it took for the wet ones to dry out in the dryer. We also noticed a lack of silverware -- ok on forks and large spoons, but only 1 smaller spoon and no knives (e.g. butter knives). We mentioned that to the owner, but never received a response.
