Great host!!

We stayed for three nights. We cooked and baked there. All the amenities we needed were available in the kitchen. Also had laundry. Very clean and easy access from airport and to town. If you are a light sleeper check if there are small children next door for VRBO. Neighbors can be heard from living room. But I didn’t notice it from bedroom. However when I notified the host she immediately called them and it quieted down. Plus the beds are so comfortable I heard nothing once I was in bed. Easy check in. I will stay again. Price can’t be beat.

Online listing photos did not match apartment. Was definitely not the same place as advertised. Would not recommend!

Perfect for a short stay

The property was very nice. The two bedrooms were pretty spacious and the living room is rather large. It has a nice deck but shares the backyard with downstairs tenants.

Quick, comfortable stay

We stayed here for just one overnight to catch an early flight out the next day. Very clean and comfortable. Very convenient to the airport which was just minutes away. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay here again on my next visit!

Sleepless in Anchorage

If you are a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere, otherwise it’s a decent place for the price. The host is responsive and communicates well. I liked that it is close to the airport and easy to find. I didn’t like that noise can be heard from upstairs guests. I was kept awake by laughing, talking and walking around until 3:30 AM. Also the train runs close nearby and he likes to toot his horn! The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen looked good, but the tub looked dirty so we didn’t use it.

No sleep!!

I wish I would have just paid another couple hundred for a hotel. Property was shown as listed, however, the noise level and cleanliness are driving this review. We were all woken up by people on the second floor screaming and running around with children at 1-2 a.m. After that calmed down, it started again at 6 a.m. and did not stop until we left around 8:30. Noticed when we left there’s a door with a pillow shoved under it that conjoins the duplexes. I contacted the host informing her about the issue of noise and received a prompt reply… but I did not take her up on the offer to check out an hour later. We checked out as soon as we could get out of there. Regarding the cleanliness, it’s decent for another person, but not for me. The nasty, mildew ridden sponge in the kitchen sink was gross and the shower needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Again, we survived… but I wish that I would have never booked this place.

Good Place to Stay for Airport Access

Easy access to airport, suited our needs for a quick and easy place to stay when arriving to Anchorage after 9:00 p.m. Seemed to be a good, safe neighborhood.

One night stay

The listing is accurate for this place. The kitchen is well equipped, the place was warm and check in easy. Communication with the owner was very good. The use of washer & dryer were helpful. It was an adequate place for our one- night stay.

Great stay in Anchorage

Karina was an awesome host! She was able to accommodate an early check in which worked very well for us. The home was comfortable with a well a well syocked kitchen.

Making Memories

Quiet neighborhood, Enough room for 5. Adequate kitchen, frig. cooking area. Lovely to have laundry included. Great location to airport and downtown. Loved Anchorage museum! Needs new bathroom fan. All in all, met our needs quite well. Thank you

Cute but upstairs was noisy and watch out for those stairs

Cute property but we arrived after midnight due to our flight arrival time and the upstairs unit was up and about around 5am which woke us up. The footsteps were very noisy above. Also, I don’t recall any mention in the ad about a staircase that goes down as soon as you walk in the front door. Being tired and dark when we arrived, this could’ve been a hazard.

Double Booked and scrambling to find accommodation at 12:30a

Our experience with this booking was nothing short of a nightmare. After arriving at our rental late at night, we discovered that the property had been double-booked. We were left stranded with no place to sleep at 12:30am, frantically searching for alternative accommodations. We eventually found a hotel, but the cost was astronomical due to being booked last minute and past midnight. To add insult to injury, the host only reimbursed part of the booking. Only after contacting VRBO ourselves were we finally able to get all our money back. To make matters worse, we received a butt dial from the host the next day, leaving a three-minute voicemail filled with yelling and screaming. While this outburst wasn’t directed at us, it was incredibly unprofessional and added to our already stressful situation. We requested to be reimbursed for the difference between our booking and the hotel, but after receiving the outburst voicemail, we are cutting our losses.

Very Convenient Location

The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. However, we could clearly hear the upstairs walking around very loudly and that was rather annoying and disturbing; otherwise, we enjoyed our one night stay.

Wonderful Vrbo Stay, Could be Cleaner

The Vrbo location as well as the host were wonderful. We found a surprise latex present under the bed upon arrival (unused) which was concerning that wasn't disposed of. First impression was a very musty smell in the place as it is a basement unit. The folks upstairs stomp around a lot during the morning but they live there so it's understandable. I loved the filtered water attachment at the kitchen sink which we were happy to have. The amenities in this Vrbo are above par for the area and I would defi recommend. Just be sure there are no surprises under the bed, ha! Would definitely stay here again as the beds are comfortable and the area is quiet & safe for traveling through. Thank you!

Nice stay in Anchorage

The inside was well appointed and clean. Everything we could possibly need. The directions were easy to follow. The outside of the property could use a little sprucing up for better curb appeal.
