This clean, minimalist home is newly renovated, with plenty of space (~1400 sq ft). Features modern finishes, brand new appliances, and a spacious, yet cozy stay for whatever brings you to Tacoma. Located steps away from the restaurants and entertainment on 6th Avenue in the quiet neighborhood of the North End, this home is centrally located near the University of Puget Sound, Stadium District, Proctor, Ruston, and Old Town. Less than 5 minutes to major hospitals and about 20 minutes from JBLM. Washer and dryer available in unit for longer stays.

Of note, the lower level is another unit.

Our neighbors are nice people. Please respect the neighborhood by not having any events during your stay. Quiet hours begin at 8:30PM.
Please do not flush anything except toilet paper. Some of the pipes are old and will block up!
More than six people upstairs causes excess noise in the lower unit, please do not hold any large gatherings or rearrange furniture.

Perfect for us

Great location for visiting The University of Puget Sound and close to multiple shopping and dining areas. Quiet, clean, and comfortable beds. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great Stay in Tacoma

Perfect location for visiting our daughter at UPS. The home was very clean and comfortable. We would stay again.

Tacoma stay

The house was in a great neighborhood and easy access to the Dome. It comes highly recommended and we will try to book it for next year also if available.

Stay was great!

Christian was a fantastic host! When we were in the middle of a heat wave, he went out of his way to supply extra fans to try to battle the weather! Definately appreciated that the house is pet free as multiple family members are allergic to pet dander. We've stayed at listing before that say "no pets allowed" but it's clear pets have been there in the past. Would 100% recommend to stay here for anyone who has pet allergies.

Change in house rules

The day before arrival, the property manager sent out some house rules that did not align with what I originally booked.I felt that this would honestly stress us out during our trip so I requested to cancel with a full refund.Had I known this, I would’ve cancelled sooner or never booked.The original listing clearly stated kids allowed up to 17. I messaged the host letting him know it would be 3 adults and 1 child.The host asked me if the child was under 12 because little kids make a lot of noise and the house is not properly secured.I told him no, my child is 14.There was also quiet time listed as starting at 10pm.The day before check in, I received a message stating no children under 12 at all allowed in the property, quiet time starting at 830pm, and no more than 6 people allowed at the property because it makes too much noise for the property manager staying in the downstairs unit. This was also not mentioned in the listing.I was going to visit friends who had kids and would probably come over to the property and having to tell them to keep it down was not something I wanted to deal with.The owner refused to give me a full refund and stated that I was probably planning to have a party and that he was scared of me going to destroy his property.I was very professional and gave no reason for him say this.Overall, the listing is very misleading and it seems like all he cares about is noise level. Ive never had any issues with other rentals and I've stayed at many.
