Lovely 1 bedroom home with all the amenities. Quiet neighborhood, excellent for walking the dog, and an enclosed back yard. Comfy bed & couch and a well stocked kitchen. I will definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend staying at this cottage. It had everything we needed. It was perfect. Very comfortable beds, great location, quiet neighborhood and so much more!! I definitely plan to stay here again and the owner was great at getting back to me quickly when reaching out.

Do very much recommend!!!!!

This is by far the best short term rental we’ve stayed in! The location is wonderful, it’s on a very quiet street ( we only saw a few people and a couple of cars on the street in 4 days ) . It’s also wonderful for dogs. the back yard is very large, fenced, and with virtually no distractions. The house looks newly remodeled inside, very clean, although I would not recommend more than two adults because of the size. We had a great time , thanks!

5 star stay!!!

This place is amazing and super cute also pet friendly which allowed us to have our 2 dogs while we went to watch our son compete in the state wrestling tournament. We will be back here in the future for sure! Also had an amazing price!

Very cute cottage

The place was easy to find. Brilliant location. Very clean and much bigger than the photos shown. The host was amazing and so helpful. We will definitely keep this listing as one we will continue to visit.

Cozy cottage getaway!

Loved staying at Nora’s Tacoma cottage for the thanksgiving holiday! The fully fenced in yard and parking was super helpful when traveling with our dogs. The house was super comfy and clean with every amenity you could ask for! Great neighborhood, can’t wait to come back and explore again!

Quick Trip

Point Ruston cottage

Nora the host was very helpful and had good communication! Its a really nice place for a dog with the big fenced in yard. Very comfortable house, well stocked kitchen, and nice surroundings to explore. We liked both restaurants within short walking distance - Antique Sandwich Co for lunch and Macaluso's Italian restaurant for dinner.

Sweet house near Point Defiance

New and bright, very clean and spiffy. Backyard is very good for dogs. Only one concern: The front porch is concrete and very small with high steps. There is no handrail and I felt it would be a problem for people with walking difficulty or unsteady gait and the porch is not surrounded, a possibility of falling about 5 feet to the ground.

Great place for a stay with pets

Nora has a great home for a stay with pets. Her house is well appointed, for adults, kids and pets. She had a dog bed, dog bowls, and also a fully fenced yard. The bed was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this home for a great stay with pets!highlyeveryev

Great location and beautiful accommodations

The property is exactly as described and very clean. It was nice to be able to walk around the area and enjoy the scenery. The host is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking in the area. Hope to come back again.

Great experience!

This cozy little home felt Just that...home. As others have stated, clean, clean clean! Plus their were all the conveniences you would have at home. And, she left us coffee to try, teas, and snacks, plus a water filtered pitcher in the frig. A thoughtful experience. We appreciated that the property was so convenient to services, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, as well as a completely fenced yard for our dogs to be free to play (just like home!). We will definitely stay here again on our next visit, should it be available. Thank you Nora for a wonderful experience.

Tacoma stay

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home during a road trip. The house was very clean, the location was great (walking distance to shops, restaurants, walking path along the harbor), and the host (Nora) was so lovely! There were so many great touches that made the stay feel like a home away from home! 10/10 recommend

Had everything we needed!

We were in town for a conference and some down time. This small house was well stocked with everything we needed and location was great for access to park, old town, ferry and Rustin Point. Neighborhood seemed safe. It was quite hot for a few days and the air conditioners though quite noisy were a great benefit!

Perfect, just perfect.

So clean. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced in a rental. Nice snack touches and filtered water in the fridge. And the A/C was a godsend on a hot, hot day.

Perfect area!

What a perfect place to visit the zoo the yacht club the waterfront markets and weekend farmers markets! Very clean and walkable to sandwich shops and coffee shops We will definitely be staying again! Thank you Nora!!

Ruston Cottage

Wonderful! Beautiful accomodations. Very centrally located. Within walking distance to Point Defiance Park, a must see while in Tacoma. Host was wonderful. I would highly recommend her cottage to all, and I hope to return here in the future.

Best stay ever

Nora is absolutely amazing! This was my first Verbo and it absolutely did not disappoint! We came to Seattle for my daughter’s appointment and needed a nice place to stay and close to everything! This place is so clean and beautiful!! Nora really thought of everything!! Definitely will be staying here again!! The kids enjoyed the back yard and the games she provided for when it rained!

Cozy Cottage - 2nd visit

We found this Ruston cottage to be clean, inviting and stocked with everything a person (or their dog) could need, again! This was our 2nd time renting this cute little house and last time was our very 1st vacation rental by owner, of any sort. We've rented several in the past year and I can now say, with some authority, this one is top notch!! Easy and accommodating communication with Nora. She takes her business seriously, you can tell and it shows. The house both times has been clean, clean, sparkling clean. The backyard has been wonderf for our pooch and our friends slept again on the sofa bed. Worked out great for all of us attending the Daffodil Festival!

Perfection

My daughter lives in Tacoma with her husband, two littles and a dog, so there isn't much room left at their house. I found this on VRBO and it was absolute perfection. It is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood and has a large back yard. Nora is so thoughtful; this place has everything that you could need; small jars of q-tips, cotton balls, tea, hot chocolate, etc., etc. It is immaculately clean and beautifully set up. I have found a home away from home and will not look for anywhere else to stay when I am in Tacoma.
