Beach Front Condo/Gulf Shores--Near Hangout/Updated!!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! Tropic Isles is a gulf front, low density (only 40 total units), family-oriented complex located on the beach at the heart of Gulf Shores.

We are located approximately .3 miles west of Hwy 59 "T" and the public beach area which means you will be within walking distance of Bahama Bob's, The Hangout, Pink Pony Pub, restaurants, and souvenir shops. If you don't mind jumping in the car, you are minutes away from Gulf State Pier, Orange Beach, Flora-Bama, The Wharf and Amphitheater, zoo, golf courses, marinas, Fort Morgan, ferry to Dauphin Island, dolphin tours or a short drive north on Hwy 59 to the Outlet Mall for shopping.

Tropic Isles #402 is a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath unit with crew bunks in the hallway. There is a pocket door which provides privacy to the bunks and bedroom from the kitchen and living area should you desire. Two Flat Screen TVs, free Wi-Fi. Fully furnished kitchen with updates to counter tops and appliances in Spring 2017, new cabinets 2019, new bathroom updates and remodeled bunk area 2022. Stack Washer/Dryer. This unit is perfect for a small family or a couple needing a quiet get away. All balconies overlook the seasonally heated pool and enjoy a direct view of the Gulf.

The Tropic Isles complex is well maintained and offers great amenities for its guests such as beach side pool (for the kids who can't decide which is more fun), outdoor shower, charcoal grilling area, bathrooms near the pool area, supper easy access to the beach (short distance from elevator and pool) all without the crowded feeling you often have with the larger high-rise accommodations. On-site parking (limited handicapped parking) with ample carts for transporting belongings to the elevator.

I stayed at this condo for a week in June for a girls trip. The condo is in great location and walking distance from a lot of shops/restaurants. The condo was clean and as pictured. The view of the beach is great from the balcony and is a short walk from the condo. Lori was great; informative, kind, and replied quickly. I will be looking to stay here again in the future!

Perfect location!

This condo was clean and very tastefully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen. The balcony had both stools/ table for meals but also had 2 chairs for relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

This is the second year in a row that we've stayed in this condo. The location on the beach is excellent. The unit was clean and well-equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location. My teens were able to walk to everything(pizza,ice cream,icee place, a wide variety of shops, local hangouts). Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Perfect location

We loved that this was a small complex and that there was no wait for the elevator. Our view was perfect and we were in walking distance of so many great restaurants. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet with no traffic in and out beside our room. We would definitely book again,

Family Vacay

Loved the property and view. Easy walk to beach with younger children and walking distance to several shops and restaurants. The only downside is the main bathroom had a few stray hairs from the previous guest in the tub and floor. I found the broom and brought my own supplies so took care of it myself. There was a card left by property manager for any cleaning needs within the first hour of check in. It was easier for me to take care of myself. I highly recommend this condo!

Nice condo

It was a nice condo, minimal kitchen ware. Would have been nice to have a blender and better pans. Could definitely tell it was a rental rather than owner occupied. Cleaning staff could have done a better job but are probably understaffed. Better if the sofa was a sofa bed. It is a great location and lovely pool.

Great stay!

This was our 1st visit to Gulf Shores and Lori and this property was amazing. The location was perfect. The view of the beach was fantastic. The pool was nice and warm, despite some of our cooler weather. My whole family made great memories and we can’t wait to come back here! Thanks Lori!

Great Location

This location was the best. The unit was very clean inside and out. The view from the balcony was awesome. I enjoyed watching the dolphins playing in the morning while we drank our coffee. The white sand beach is just steps away. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Have stayed in Tropic Isle once before. Love the smaller high-rise condo. Unit was pretty clean, few minor issues that were definitely not deal breakers! Voiced our observations to Lori, not as complaints, just things that need to be addressed in the future. She replied back promptly and was very receptive to our concerns. If we ever decided to buy a condo on the beach, this condo building would be on the short list! Thank you Lori!

Perfect Condo for Family Beach Trip

This was the perfect place for me, my husband, and 2 toddler boys for our first trip to the beach. My boys loved the built-in bunk/pocket beds. Everything was great … the view from the balcony, the building (easy parking, carts to help take stuff up/down to/from room, easy access to elevator and stairs, clean and well-kept pool, etc), location, and beach. The water pressure was ah-mazing as well!! The kitchen had all the essentials, and there was nothing we felt like we were missing. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to our friends and family.

Great Location

Property was convenient to shops and restaurants. Could use some updating and a better job of cleaning. Living room rug was stained and needs to be replaced. Bunk beds have no ladder therefore smaller children can not stay on top bunk due to safety. They also have no way to climb up or down on their own. We had several other friends in the same complex and their co dos all had ladders for the bunks. Would seem like an easy issue to fix to make renters feel a little better about putting their children on the top bunk. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location and Balcony Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tropic Isles 402. Location is beachside with a nice hard walkway through the dunes to get to the beach (this is especially nice for rolling beach items). Balcony views were amazing. Condo is on the smaller side, but good enough space for our small family. Kitchen/bathrooms were nice and updated. Mattress could probably be changed since it seemed to be sinking in the middle. But other than that, the place was great and we would definitely visit again!

Gulf Shores was close to our home in Madison, MS. Its an easy drive from about anywhere in the south. The beaches are fantastic and the home is reasonably priced and we pass the savings on to you!! Its great for a week at the beach and close enough for a weekend getaway.
