Conditions were not at described. Inside was dirty. There was marks all over the walls. The carpet looked very ran down and there was a bad smell. It was not livable. It is also a condo and stacked right next to other people. Do not recommend.

Solid Spot

No complaints about this home. Hot tub was a big highlight for us, and a great way to recover from a couple of days on the slopes!

Excellent getaway—highly recommend

The location was quiet and gorgeous in the winter. The drive to Bethel was about a half hour drive along some gorgeous lakes. The jacuzzi was the star for me—stayed warm our entire stay. Outfitted with everything we needed for a couple weeks. We had a couple questions that were answered almost instantly.

Cozy, immaculate, comfortable condo

We had a very nice stay at Deb's property. It was clean and comfortable, and we were able to cook our meals there. The area is remote, which is exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed hiking and snowshoeing in the area, and using the hottub after outdoor activites. Thank you, Deb for sharing your home with us.

Perfect place for a relaxing place

This place is the perfect place if you are looking for peace, quiet, relaxing vacation and a beautiful scenery. The host was very fast responding. she made sure that we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was equipped with everything needed for a perfect stay.

Peaceful retreat in low-key & friendly small community

Clean, comfortable, all the necessities - plus a hot tub! Close to Ebenezer’s (our primary purpose for visiting), clear & helpful check-in, check-out, property, & driving instructions (WiFi is great once you get there, but be prepared for rural phone/5G - the hosts equip you well with instructions, do take them along). We had a couple of short hikes around the property and could have done many more given more time. Great spot - would definitely stay again!

Great stay

Myself being the primary renter of the condo was unable to go but the host was very nice and willing to change the information passing process along to another member of the group. The condo was very well kept and a great stay for the weekend according to my friends. Since they stayed in the winter the most important thing was comfort for them and the condo did not disappoint!

Evergreen Valley Resort Area

We loved exploring the abandoned ski mountain and old lodge from Evergreen Valley. It added a level of excitement to our stay. We went to Maine to ski at Sunday River. It was about 45 minutes, which was kind of far, but worth it because the property was really cool. It's dated, which we did not mind at all.

September visit

The condo itself was great however the road getting to it needs repaired in the worst way. Had issues with hot water heater but the owners took care of it right away. Overall it was a nice stay.

This home is in a rural community where roads are not perfectly paved like in larger towns. In general the average car or truck won't have issues with the road, but a low riding vehicle could have to take it slow and avoid potholes created by Maine winters.

Great location for hiking and outdoor activities

The house was as we expected. For the price it fit a lot of people and had a good functional kitchen for us to use. We were close to a lot of nice hiking and having the inn close by felt nice in case we had any questions or needs. Owner communicated clearly and quickly for anything that came up. A few things were outdated or could be cleaner but again good for the price! Thanks!

I wasnt aware that the home was part of a development. I guess I should have read the post more carefully. I wasnt looking to have neighbors that close. That being said, the property was clean and well maintained. The host was responsive to my requests and very friendly. I met some of the neighbors snd they were very nice. They tried to help me with some issues.

Hardly seems fair that he gives my property a score of 3 because he did not read the listing and then goes on to say it was clean, well maintained and more positive comments.

Very pleasant owners, neighbors and clean

This place is set up for a great hunting four wheeling camping Style vacation. It was a little out of the way for us but we had a wonderful interaction with the owners and have nothing negative to say about their willingness to solve some concerns we had so the remainder of our say was calm and peaceful. Many thanks for them being attentive

Charming home and location!

This sweet and cozy place was our home away from home! The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen has everything you'd need to cook in, shower has excellent water pressure, hosts are attentive if there are any issues or questions. We truly relaxed when we would get back from a daily adventures. The back deck was facing a beautiful wooded area with a path that you can walk and find cool pic opportunities (cool mushrooms, colorful moss, white birches. We even saw a black and white woodpecker! Autumn was in full swing and the colors were illuminated! We will be back! Thank you for the incredible memories 💘🙏

Fireplace isn't functional and hot tub was half full of water so also not very functional. Lots of space and pet friendly which was nice. Mattresses are VERY firm and the sleeps 8 includes an old futon in the living room for two. Would recommend bringing 6 people only as it was very uncomfortable. 30-40 min drive to North Conway and civilization. Is a decent deal until you add in the $300 in fees and then averaged to $300/night. Two parking spaces was nice. Lots of pots and pans.

Excited but disappointed

We were excited to have a nice place to stay, unfortunately not to be! We got there to find the grill with broken parts didn’t even try to use, hot tub looked like milk, bed is old as *+^•, instructions to operate tv didn’t work. Ended our 2 night stay after 1night. Better luck next time

I am so sorry this guests never contacted me. We could have sent someone to checkout the hot tub. TV worked before and after his visit so probably something we could have talked him through. Mattress on one bed is one year old and the other is only a few months old. I make myself available via text, email and phone 24/7 but can not help people who do not contact me.

Nice owner, misleading description

Overall this experience taught us to be careful about renting on VRBO. Owners can claim any amenities they want, and the company relies only on reviews to police them. Not sure if we'll do VRBO again, for this reason. For us, discovering there was no working fireplace, in spite of "fireplace" being listed under amenities, was a really big disappointment. The owner was very responsive to communications, including when I lost the key--she got me a spare within minutes. The property was clean, though very dated, with a 70s era condo aesthetic. It did feel fairly private despite being surrounded by other condos, because no one else was staying in the other condos. I would imagine it would be less private during more popular times of the year (we stayed in the week between Christmas and New year). We enjoyed the hot tub and didn't find the instructions around adding chemicals to be too onerous. It was nice sitting in the hot tub and looking at the stars on the deck. On a clear night, it'd be nice to have a telescope because there's basically no light pollution. My spouse and I could handle it, but some people may have difficulty with the lid of the hot tub. It's pretty heavy and awkward to take off. There are hills all around, so it'd be great for sledding, though we weren't lucky enough to get snow. If you have a dog you want to bring, be warned that you'll have to keep it off the furniture and beds or bring blankets to cover everything (that's what we did). That's good news, if you're allergic to dogs. The kitchen does have pots and pans and dishes. They aren't great quality (flaking teflon, dented bottoms), so if you're cooking and particular, you may want to bring your own. But the biggest disappointment was the fireplace. We all really wanted a fireplace, so the fact that the property description included "fireplace" on its list of amenities is the main reason we chose this place. We didn't learn that the fireplace wasn't functional until after the no cancellation date had passed. I brought it up with the owner and she said that she put in the notes (not visible on my mobile app) that she has an "electric fireplace." To me, this is beside the point. First, renters shouldn't have to search the fine print to verify the amenities are really there. Second, it is disingenuous for her to claim a fireplace as an amenity at all. She DOES NOT have a place that people can build fired in, so she shouldn't include "fireplace" under amenities.

I am sorry that although this guest praises me and the condo in many ways he felt to give me a one star review. My ad says electric fireplace in 3 locations, including the photo, even in the mobile app.

Getaway

We were visiting friends who own a house on Kezar Lake. This property was perfect for us. Great location for all things around the lake. We played a round of disc golf up the street, visited Mt. Washington one afternoon, hiked some local trails and made smores at the the fire pit at the inn. Overall we had everything we needed and plenty of space.
