We know if the property is owned by Michael, it will be a pleasant stay. Our family has stayed during the holidays and it has always been magical. Highly recommend any property he owns!

Great cabin

Great place, just as described. Very clean, right on a private lake, which was great for the kids to fish. Would definitely stay again.

What a beautiful home. It gave me a great feeling just sitting in the main room reading and looking out on the lake. Our two dogs had a great time as there were plenty of trails for long walks. I liked the fact that the house was so secluded but not that difficult to get to.

The Cedars Log Home was exactly what we were looking for. This beautiful, extremely clean and well equipped cabin gave my wife and I and our black lab a wonderful opportunity to spend time together. Hiking around the lake, grilling on the deck with the great view and soothing our muscles in the hot tub after some long ping pong games was the best way to celebrate a birthday

Great weekend away

Was looking for a cute place right on a lake for my family and two dogs. It’s just like the pictures- perfect for our 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Great communication before and during our stay.

Loved this place!

This lakeside cabin is just what is advertised - it was such a beautiful, clean, spacious and restful place for us to spend a couple of days before going to NYC. When asked his favorite part of the whole trip, every time our son says it was this cabin.

Great getaway place!

This property is amazing and beautiful! We throughly enjoyed exploring upstate New York. The host were helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway

Michael was great to work with and the cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Plenty of things to do in Oneonta which is a short drive away.

Wonderful Trip

Beautiful property. Everyone enjoyed the water activities from the kayaks and row boat to fishing and swimming. Smores were a hit at the fire pit. Very private yet not too far to grocery shop. Will definitely return again.

Excellent Stay

Place was exactly as advertised. Michael was wonderful to deal with. He answered all our questions right away. If your looking for relaxing get away with good fishing and plenty of stuff for kids I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Cabin in the woods yet close to everything

What’s not to love? This cabin was perfect for our group. The kayaks were awesome. The rooms were comfortable. It was close to ASV and HOF. Definitely coming here again!

Review

The cedars log cabin was such a nice getaway and was the coziest home ever! From the lake view to the fire pit and the fireplace inside with the log cabin home it made for a relaxing and cozy weekend. We will be coming back!

Excellent Family Escape

What a beautiful home and location! We stayed while our son played at All Star Village and could not have been happier. We fished off the dock when the boys had free time, used the kayaks and enjoyed numerous ping pong games! It’s a gem and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a family retreat!

Beautiful Property!

Beautiful property! Everything was wonderful about our stay. Basement area with pool table and air hockey table was great for the kids. Everyone also had a great time fishing. Kitchen was well stocked. Very clean. We would love to return!

Amazing Getaway

We were taken aback by the beauty of the view as well as the house. Our family planned a birthday getaway and enjoyed every moment. Michael was kind enough to allow us to stay after check out and use the kayaks and boat given the beautiful weather. We will definitely be planning another trip. This place exceeded our expectations and provided much needed rest, relaxation and the serene views were the icing on the cake!

Lake Vacation

We enjoyed this beautiful cabin on the lake. The cabin was very spacious, clean and comfortable. My son loved the downstairs with the air hockey and ping pong tables as well as the fire pit near the lake. The view of the lake from the large windows in the front of the cabin was wonderful to wake up to each day. We also really enjoyed the kayaks and the row boat which made getting around the lake a lot of fun. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Magical Christmas

My family had a beautiful Christmas at the cabin and we’re already talking about returning. It’s not our first time at one of Michaels properties, all I have to say is that they’re always helpful and the houses are always beautiful and clean. We look forward to returning and spending time as a family there once again. The view is immaculate, the fire place, the fire pit outside, everything just so beautiful and fun!

Beautiful private home

Two families with teenage boys enjoyed the property. While the weather was not cooperative to enjoy more of outdoors, cards, ping pong and air hockey kept us entertained. There was plenty of room for all of us, and we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the main living area. Michael answered all my questions, and was very responsive.

Memorial Day Weekend

We arrived on Thursday and the property was gorgeous. All that was listed for the property was there and the house was stocked with everything needed minus your own food. We enjoyed everything from the kayaks and going fishing to the evening fires around the fire pit. Our host Michael responded within minutes when I had a question. We would highly recommend this Cedars Log Home for anyone that loves to relax by the lake and enjoy the view and wildlife to the outdoors person that loves to kayak and fish. We will go back soon and stay longer.
