Property’s location was what we wanted… walking distance to all things downtown. Lynn was a great host who was quick to respond to any of our questions. The house clean and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay there again! Private parking a definite plus.

Photos don’t do this sweet little place justice The attention to detail is spot on. A lot of things from the cottage we spotted around town from local shops, which is so great. The antiques in here are very cool! Would definitely stay again if we come back to St. Charles.

We loved staying at The Headquarters! It provided a great place for us to relax, explore the area, and visit family. The house was on Main Street which has excellent shops, restaurants, coffee spots, and Daniel Boone. From the parking area in the back, we were just across the street from the Katy Trail, a lovely and well-maintained trail, and the Lewis & Clark Boathouse and Museum. Lynn has an immaculate, welcoming home. We were glad to have air conditioning and the convenience of a washer and dryer. We are already planning our return trip!

Travelers who enjoy historic buildings will absolutely love this property on Main Street! The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, but why cook when there are so many restaurants within walking distance. The mattress is extremely comfortable. The host is friendly and welcoming. My husband and I loved this place.

Awesome stay, great location near our favorite restaurants and shops. Everything was well stocked, the house was beautiful and the history of the house made it all the more special. We'll definitely be back.

Everything our week-long stay was perfect, from the welcoming host to the Main Street location to the charming historic property. It was exactly what a vacation rental should be.

We stayed here for a week, two of us. This well-located property is literally right on Main Street, with plenty of dedicated gated parking at the back of the property. It has a kitchen with full size versions of all the necessary appliances (there is no dishwasher), a dining area, living room, bedroom and bathroom, including a washer/dryer! Well stocked with paper products, towels and linens, coffee pods, laundry soap, shampoo, etc. Very clean, easy communication with the host, really a great find. We would definitely stay here again, and you cannot beat the location for easy walkable access to historical old town St. Charles shopping, dining, or riding the local biking trails (e.g. Katy Trail).

This was a prefect place for a birthday getaway. We didn't have to look for a parking spot since the house has on site parking. Lynn was a perfect host. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay! The property was as pictured, very clean and cozy with a nice backyard and firepit that opened directly on to Main Street. Lots of cute coffee shops, restaurants and local stores within yards of the front gate. It was like walking out of the back door and into a scene from a Hallmark movie. Will definitely stay here again!

The place was cozy and beautiful! The location was perfect. There were shops and restaurants practically outside our front door, so we didn’t need to drive anywhere. Also, you parked your car in the back of the house which had an electric gate to get in and out.The host was very friendly. She told us the history of the home and info St. Charles. We will definitely stay there again!
