Such a great place to stay, super convenient for Rushmore, the Hill city train, and other local attractions. Surprisingly spacious compared to the pictures. Host communication was prompt and informative, and we’d stay here again in a heartbeat. For all the cool landmarks and parks we saw in the area, our kids insist that this place outranks them all.

I can't say enough good things about this property! This lodge has everything you need and more. Plenty of towels for guests, comfortable beds, very spacious, beautiful patio to set out and make s'mores in the fireplace. So peaceful and quiet. No shortage of hot water with our group. The hot tub was another great plus! You are definitely secluded which my group of 11 liked. It's only 6-7 miles to Hill City or Keystone so a great location. We had an issue with plumbing a couple of times but maintenance was sent out and the problem solved by the time we returned. Rushmore Vacations is wonderful to deal with. Loved iur stay at Granite Ridge Lodge.

Hideaway

Large and private location. Close to activities in the area but far away from traffic and noise. Large dining and kitchen for a large group.

Cabin in the woods!

We enjoyed our stay at Granite Ridge Lodge. The home is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and in a great location. We spent all of our time on the back patio and loved the scenery. Thank you for sharing your home!

Truly one in a million properties. Very unique spot- located off the beaten path, literally it is located at the end of a long gravel road in a beautiful wooded area. Close proximity to Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State park. You will be greeted by deer and wild turkeys every morning and hear the 1880 train whistle as you enjoy coffee and breakfast on the back patio. So peaceful and beautiful. Well stocked kitchen with coffee maker, pots, pans, glassware, etc. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms - great for our party of 7. Beds were very comfortable. We spent alot of time out and about so we didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub, but it would have been amazing to view the stars from. Only downside was that we were there during a "burn warning" and we were not able to utilize the outdoor woodburning fireplace - but it is in a beautiful spot on the patio and weather permitting would be amazing. Great spot for our girls' weekend! The host was extremely responsive which was greatly appreciated.

Easter family gathering

Excellent house for a large group. Location was private yet easy access to Hill City, Custer, Crazy Horse, Rushmore and Custer State Park. Kitchen was large enough for group meal preparation. Beds were comfortable. Golf holes added a fun afternoon downtime activity. Would stay again.activity.WouWouldagainagain.

Great place

Our stay at Granite Ridge Lodge was wonderful. The house was beautiful inside and out. Very spacious. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend this house to others. If you are using google maps to find the house it can be a bit tricky. Be sure to have the email with the directions provided by the owners available.

Unique, one-of-a-kind, magnificent home

The property is a grand cabin with beautiful common spaces and was large enough to comfortably house three families. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and golf course. The adults enjoyed the comfortable sleeping arrangements, large kitchen, outdoor kitchen, multiple beverage coolers, and outside fireplace, etc . Thank you!!

Great Location! Quiet property!

We enjoyed our stay last week. It was a great location- close to many of the sights, but quiet and secluded. The house was big enough for all three families to share. The only odd thing for us was how the bathrooms were set up. This was mainly because we had three couples plus all the kids. We wish there had been a full bathroom on the main floor. Not a deal breaker. We still would recommend this home. The property management company was fine to work with. Overall, we had a nice stay and a great trip!

Wow property but it needs major updating , dirty , things broken , half the stove top didn’t work, shower heads not working , cheap utensils and kitchen gear , light switch we couldn’t use on the top floor due to being super hot , outdoor water feature not working, side grill not hooked up, no closets to take clothes out of suitcase , minimal oils, salts pepper to use , great outdoor space
