North Shore Inn Traverse City - Unit 302

Condo unit 302 is a third-floor penthouse condo featuring 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It has wonderful beach views from the living area as well as the master bedroom (which is on the 2nd story of this unit!) - both areas have private patios with easy access to our private beach. This large, spacious unit gives lots of space and privacy for larger families enjoying a beachfront vacation together. The master bedroom with it's own master bathroom and master balcony are on the 2nd floor while the 2nd bedroom, 2nd bathroom, kitchen, and living area are on the first floor of this top-floor unit. It's truly a remarkable Traverse City unit!

Fall getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed here multiple times over the past several years. I love being able to stay in a room right on the east bay. My reasons for the 4 star ratings on overall and general conditions are that the downstairs bedrooms did not have a TV in the room and the hotel no longer offers conditioner. I asked the front desk about this and was told they never offered conditioner. This is untrue. This is the first time I've stayed here and only had shampoo available.

Great Experience

The view of the bay is amazing! The condo was clean and the full kitchen was great to have to keep our food and moomers ice cream cold. :)

Great location, great staff

Stayed for 2 nights, will definitely return. The resort staff are friendly, the property is very well kept. Our unit was clean and exactly as soon in the pictures.

Great little spot with a few hiccups.

The upstairs shower in our unit had some issues so we only had one bathroom but the furnishings were top notch and my family had a really great time.

May Getaway

We have stayed at this condo twice and have enjoyed our stay each time. The unit is very clean and comfortable and the views of the bay from the balconies are stunning! We definitely plan to come back in the future!

Beautiful view but needs new beds

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was in a great location with beautiful views. Nice layout. The beds could have been more comfortable. The bed on the main floor was not comfortable at all, very springy and hard. We were unable to use the bed in the sofa couch because it appeared to be dirty with an old sheet clumped up on it, and a black stain underneath the mattress that looked like it could have been mold. I informed the front desk when we checked out. So hopefully this won't be an issue for the next guests. If it was peak season price I would've been very upset with the bed quality. Nobody wants poor sleep on vacation.

Great couple of nights

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very easy to get in, office closed at 5 pm, but they left my key in lockbox. Checked ourselves in and enjoyed the stay. Room very clean and pleasant! Close to eating areas. Loved having the 2 bedroom due to my elderly mom being with us and she could have the main floor at night when she got restless. Perfect set up!

Twins' 62nd Birthday

This is our second stay at this property. We love it. Central to everything and it's a very spacious and comfortable condo. Wish the livingroom tv were larger and that the master tv had same channels as the living room

Long Fall Weekend

Very nice two bedroom two bathroom condo. Kitchen was tight but well stocked with nice appliances. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice as well. Would definitely stay again.

Great Property to stay at! 👍

Unit was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, friendly staff. Great location - we visited Mackinaw Island, Tunnel of Trees, Old Mission peninsula lighthouse and wineries, and the Sleeping Bear dunes - all two hours or less drives from the unit. Right on the bay with a beach. Only issue was 4+ inches of rain during the time we were there - definitely not the owner's fault! 😁

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at North Shore Inn many times in the past. Unit 302 is one of my favorite units. The unit is updated and is away from the elevator so it's quieter. On the downside, the second shower is very small, but this is common across similar units. Also, the room was advertised with a TV in the second bedroom but there wasn't one there. When I need to stay in Traverse City, North Shore Inn is the first place I look for a room.
