Very clean but not as advertised
My family and I (2 adults, 2 children) came to Clearlake for a family reunion. My extended family stayed in another house, and we rented this. In the ad, it states that it is a home. It is not. The pictures are deceiving, as it looks like the house is what you are renting, it is not. It is a glorified shed that advertises as sleeping 4. There is a bigger bed and a cot, but I’m not sure where the 4th person would be sleeping, unless you were a throuple and into that sort of thing, or if your pre-teen child could squeeze in with you. The table that states it should seat 4 is in a tiny hallway, and there’s no room to walk if one person happened to be sitting there, let alone more. The “privacy “ is iffy, as it’s literally someone’s small backyard, and the jacuzzi is right next to their sliding back door. We also were not allowed to flush toilet paper, as the plumbing is somehow not capable of an invention that was patented in the year 1775. I’m not sure how placing feces covered toilet paper into an unlined trash can is sanitary. What if someone was menstruating? That’s unacceptable. We didn’t stay the first night, and our children stayed with extended family the rest of our stay.We had my adult daughter stay with us instead of the other house, to inhibit crowding. The neighborhood is run down and sort of creepy. On Saturday night when we returned from family events, the hot water wasn’t working any longer, so we cut our trip a day short on Sunday and vacated the premises.
