Come and enjoy the Black Hills of South Dakota at the cozy Morning Star Lodge! Nestled just outside of Deadwood this is the perfect quiet and private place to enjoy all of the activities the Black Hills has to offer. Minutes from ATV, snowmobiling trails, hiking, skiing, nightlife in Deadwood, and many others. After a day of activities this is the perfect place to enjoy the views and relax!

We had a fantastic stay! The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean and decks were excellent, and the location was incredible!! The kitchen was immaculate and stocked with high end appliances! The host was also amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

This place was awesome, great location, very clean, wonderful views. The host is very responsive to any questions or concerns, very helpful. We had 6 adults staying at the cabin and were very comfortable with plenty of room. Thanks again for the wonderful place.

Gorgeous property. Lots of room for big families. Comfortable beds. Awesome game room for hot/ rainy days. The closests are huge. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We also grilled using the provided grill. Hosts were fast to respond if needed. Wildlife viewing from the deck was so cool. Going to make this an annual destination!

Everything about this cabin was wonderful. Very clean, comfortable and lots of space. Our three teenage grandsons loved the downstairs area. Lots of games, pool table, shuffleboard and large TV.Beautiful view and secluded. We have no recommendations for improvement.The only downside is the dusty gravel road leading up to the cabin. That being said, we would definitely stay here again when traveling to the Black Hills area.

Everything was great! Clean, well stocked with amenities, lots of parking, beautiful views from wrap around deck, lots of room, and fun game room. We would definitely return if in the area.

Great location with amazing views!

We absolutely loved our stay at Morning star. The most gorgeous views, peace and quiet, with only a 5 minute drive into deadwood. Very clean property. Hot tub was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place

The cabin was just as described. Clean, easy Checkin, everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the basement, lots of space for everyone. Locationm was good, about an hour from everything we wanted to see.

Our family had a beautiful stay. Plenty of bedrooms so everyone had a little privacy, but tons of spaces to come together and play. The location was surprisingly close, withing 10mins, to Lead/Deadwood, and a great spot to start from when exploring Spearfish Canyon. Everything went well and as expected. We certainly plan to stay here again.

This cabin home was perfect ❤️Very clean and the most beautiful views you can imagine. It’s remote but only a 5 minute drive to deadwood and lead. Definitely staying there again !!

Great spot close to deadwood.

We comfortably fit 11 guys with plenty of room to spare, amazing view from the porch that is very private from other cabins. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Great spot for a bachelor or bachelorette party. Highly recommend!

Family Ski Trip

This property was great for a family ski trip! Close to Terry Peak, Lead, and Deadwood. Very clean with lots of things to do inside! Host was easy to work with and communicated great. Would recommend to friends and family.

Perfect Location

Great stay. Newer build with all your household needs met. Garage. Great private location but within distance of others if needed. Short ten minute drive down the well kept road into town for dining or other needs. Will do this one again for sure!
