Our place is a 10 minute drive to I-35/Ames. Restaurants & a park are within walking distance. This space is a flat above a detached garage and has a lovely, rustic charm and is separate from the main house. The living room has a pull-out couch, increasing guest size from 4 up to 6. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dining area and an outdoor grill.
This is not handicap accessible as it requires going up one flight of stairs.
Quiet & peaceful neighborhood!

Great location for our trip. Quiet neighborhood. Everything you need is right there. It’s not for people who cannot do stairs though, only limitation.

Perfect little cozy cabin! The one-bedroom space was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were great. We really enjoyed our stay.

We usually stay in modern cabins, but when we saw the pictures of the inside of this property, we decided to have a similar experience closer to home. It was a good decision. Everything was very clean and what was provided was more than ample.

Joe and Rachel were very communicative aleading up-to-date and throughout the stay. They gave clear direction on where to park and entry, which was super appreciated! We couldn't get over how smart and cute the space was and very much appreciated all it had to offer!

Great place to stay!

Really nice property with great hosts. Had an ice storm during my stay and they made sure that the walkways were safe. I would/will stay here again.

Cozy, comfy stay!

This cute converted garage apartment was just perfect for my mother and me during our fall Iowa trip! When we had a little glitch with the heating unit, the owners were extremely responsive and helpful to make it nice and cozy for us. Would stay here again!

Great stay at the Urban barn

We really loved the barn and how things were designed and decorated, it was very comfortable and cozy. Having a backyard with seating and a grill really came in handy as well! We highly recommend and plan on booking in the future when we come back to the area. The hosts were excellent and communicated right away.

10 minutes from ISU sports complex. Beautiful cabin style with all modern amenities in small town. Great stay when going to games or events at Iowa State. Clean and well stocked. Host was quick to help us. Only caution is the stairs are quite steep.

Enjoyed this cute, super clean place. 15 minutes out from ISU, which was ideal on game day. Owner was quick to respond and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

The place was perfect for myself and my husband. I really enjoyed the eclectic decor. We had some initial problems but the concern and quick solutions/fixes made the experience great and a place we would definitely stay again

The facilities were wonderful, inviting, and immaculate! The owners were welcoming and truly friendly while also professional. The clincher for me was that the unit was only a couple blocks from my childhood home ❤️.

Great communication from host & directions were clear. The place itself is very comfortable & clean. I personally slept really well. Little to no noise. 5 minute walk takes you to the downtown where there are a couple of bakeries for am & a few dining places for the evening. 15 minute drive to Ames. I recommend this place.
