The property fit all of our needs for the weekend and was great for the price! The host checked in with me before check in, during the stay, and when checking out to ensure we had everything we needed and that everything was going smoothly. Proximity to Cyride bus stops was a plus!

I recognize that I was not staying at a 5 star hotel. However I would like to compliment Susan for all of her service. The flat offered all I needed and more. I must also say Ames was amazing and I believe the location helped me have a superb experience. Walking distance to all that downtown has to offer. Fantastic farmers market, consert in the band shell, and possibly the best pizza I've ever eaten at Great Plains Sauce and Dough Company.Please reach out to Susan if you are traveling to Ames.

This was a great place for our 2 night stay! Very cute and homey feeling. Lots of nice touches! Would definitely stay again if I were to get to Ames another time! Host was great, very responsive too!

The room was just as advertised and it is in a great location! It must be very well insulated—we had a couple of unseasonably hot days and the room was still very comfortable.

close to downtown Ames and about a mile or so from Iowa State Campus. Location was convenient and quiet. Upstairs apartment was clean and well organized with a full size refrigerator, microwave and 4 burner stove. Plates, bowls, silverware, scissors and steak knives were there to make it convenient to cook if I wanted. Susan (the owner) was easy to reach via VRBO app messaging and was always quick to respond. Pleasant experience. Terry

Host was very helpful and informative. The place was exactly as described. It was perfect for my husband and I. Great location. Right by downtown. Easy parking and entry. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Host

My daughter and I needed a place to stay while completing her ISU orientation. Loved the place, close to campus and convenient for a 1-2 day stay. Host was fantastic! I’d be happy to stay there again in the future.

Perfect Stay

The room was cozy and comfortable. Very cool house in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We will definitely stay there next time we are in Ames.

It was a nice play to stay for the weekend, sleeping accommodations were adequate, a little difficult to get the pull out mattress set up. Nothing to complain about.

Perfect For A Weekend

This is a cozy flat that is just right for two on a weekend getaway. Amenities were adequate. Access to wifi and the Firestick was a plus. Appreciated the older home feel.

The apartment is in a historic home. It is a beautiful room with bathroom. Water pressure is good, air conditioning is adequate, very well appointed. The mattress was comfortable. We would stay there again. Only downside is some steep stairs to the room is hard on a couple of old people!

Relaxing Getaway

This was a relaxing and calm get away. We were a 5-7 minute walk from downtown so that was nice. We had all the amenities we needed and we had an allocated place to park.
