Emily and Ryan’s cabin was great! The cabin was very clean on arrival. They also added multiple personal touches that were so cute! Emily and ryan were very responsive when messaged with any questions I had throughout my stay.

A cozy and heavily decorated cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out process was very smooth. Host communicates promptly with lots of details about the property, though some information may not be updated timely. We had a great time in this property and thank for the hospitality!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the Mama Bear Chalet. Cozy is definitely the right word for this cabin, but nothing felt too small or cramped. It was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids (1 baby). The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. As with other Packwood locations, it’s an easy drive to White Pass. Appreciated the host’s responsiveness in communication as well. A place that should be on everyone’s short list.

Beautiful property with close access to Mount Rainer

Outstanding VRBO near Mount Rainier! Clear instructions, responsive host. Clean, well-equipped, full kitchen. Memorable stay!

"Mama Bear Cabin" is one of the ideal locations for visiting Mount Rainier National Park. There aren't a lot of good houses so close to the park and this one is only 15-20 minutes from the park entrance so book it early before it's gone! The owner/host is great too they're good communicators and expect the usual things from guests such as cleaning up the kitchen and taking out the garbarge before you leave, but the host is reasonable no super long crazy lists of expectations (long time VRBO users will know what I'm talking about LOL).The house itself was awesome for my family of 4! It's nice and has new high quality memory foam beds. There are 3 bedrooms so my teenager didn't have to share a room with his little brother and that was a big bonus for us. Both bathrooms are nice and the main level bathroom is extra nice it's brand new with fresh tile, and a large tub with a good quality sliding glass door. I love a great bathroom and this house has it! While A/C is not super common in the Pacific Northwest this property has a mini-split in the main area which is another nice bonus.I'm not sure when we'll be back to Mount Rainier but we'll be sure to book this place next time!

Cozy Cabin

A clean and cozy cabin that exceeded our expectations. A perfect place as a home base for us to explore Mt Rainier National Park. The hosts truly went above and beyond with all the extras available to use during our stay. The board games especially were a hit.

Great cabin in Packwood

Charming cabin has everything you need and more! Great for families with plenty of kids books and games. The outdoor space was great with a fire pit and decks with tables and chairs for dining. Kitchen was great and well stocked with all necessary cooking items. There was an AC unit in the main living room which helped when the hot afternoon sun hit the front windows. Fans in the bedrooms kept everyone cool at night. Overall great stay and hope to be back again someday.

Visit to Mt Rainier

This lovely cabin was a great home base while visiting Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens. We did a lot of driving, so it was nice to come back and relax after dinner in Packwood or on the road. The house was clean when we arrived. We did have an issue with the refrigerator going out during our stay, but the hosts responded quickly to our questions about that. The loft also got quite warm during the day while we were away, but we figured out how to keep it cool using the fans and HVAC system. We were able to make breakfasts and lunch at the cabin, so we only ate out for dinner, which is a VRBO necessity for us! We would definitely recommend the cabin to others coming to the area.

Hello Brenda & family, Thank you for being our guests. We are so happy you still had a good stay, even though we couldn’t get the fridge working properly for you. Thank you for being such positive, respectful, & communicative guests. Yes, the A-frame by design traps the heat upstairs, as it’s designed for winter warmth. I am working on a fan system to make it more comfortable upstairs on hot days. The rooms downstairs stay pretty comfortable, but I added additional fans to the property to assist the AC unit. Thank you for your ideas on how to improve the place and I am working on those. Kind regards & hope you’ll come back to enjoy (we purchased a new fridge). Emily & the Mama Bear Family🐻🏡😊
