Oceanfront Condo!

The "Beach Retreat" is an oceanfront, deluxe condo at the Daytona Beach Resort. Sit out on your 5th floor balcony and enjoy wonderful views up and down the beach! Beach access is available just a few steps away from the resort.

This condo is one of the largest units in the resort and can sleep four, with two queen beds in the master bedroom. And it has been renovated and updated in 2023, to provide you with a really beautiful and comfortable place to "get away" to.

The beach themed living room provides ocean views from two rocker/recliners and sofa and it also has a large flat screen TV. Dining for four, is provided with a bistro table and kitchen bar.

The kitchen comes with a full refrigerator (with ice-maker), two burner stove, microwave, crock pot and a convection/toaster oven/air fryer, toaster, coffee maker and blender, and is fully stocked with all the utensils, cookware, plates, bowls, cups and glassware you may need to prepare and enjoy "home cooked" meals.

For those that may need a remote workspace to set up your laptop, a desk is provided for you.

The large master bedroom has a dresser and another flat screen TV and also provides ocean views. The bathroom has two sinks and a tub/shower and a laundry hamper (with wheels) that you can roll to the coin operated laundry room.

And to top it off - we also provide you with a fully stocked beach cart, that you can take down to the beach (by elevator and a ramp to the beach), that has two beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and even noodles to float on.

The reason we are providing a much lower price than normal, is because the resort's amenities (seawall, pools, tiki bar restaurant) were badly damaged by two hurricanes, which have yet to be fully repaired or recovered.

Nevertheless, you will stay have the direct beach and ocean views and a large, beautifully decorated condo to enjoy during your stay at the "Beach Retreat"!

Great condo

The condo was great! Clean, comfortable beds, lots of kitchen necessities, plenty of bathroom towels. The beach wagon & (two) beach towels were great to have. Amazing view of the beach/ocean. As stated in many reviews, the pool is a mess which is out of control of the condo owner and easy to look past. The balcony is not private which for some reason I was expecting even though the description did not say that it was. The only negative that I have is that the neighbors are constantly outside smoking cigarettes and marijuana. At times the smell of both of those things came into the condo. The one neighbor was considerate enough to ask if it was okay. Not a deal breaker for us. Just a little annoying. We spent most of our time out & about and we would still consider this condo if we ever find ourselves in Daytona again.

pools and amenities needed upgrading. We understand likely hurricane went through, but they could’ve cleaned up the outside of the property. The apartment itself was gorgeous. Everything you would need. I would come again.

Beautiful

This unit was so cute! We loved the decor and everything was very nice. Very roomy, I didn't expect to have as much room. The pictures didn't do it justice. I would definitely recommend this unit.

The stay was good. We went to the wrong door and had a little issue. But that was my fault. The directions were good. I just did not follow them. The building and pools were rough. But the room was nice. I would stay there again.

Renter beware, owner does not have integrity

The owner is not upfront in disclosing that the amenities are not available. The hot tub, indoor, outdoor pool are green and non usable. No accessibility to the weight room. No easy access to the beach. The condo smelled, Dusty and mildewy. The ceiling of the porch is Rusty and falling apart. Our stay was very disappointing. The owner should have told us up front that these things were not available. And when confronted by email he never responded. You do not get what you pay for on this deal

Daytona Condo

The condo was immaculately clean! Wonderful condo for myself, husband and daughter. The beach view was amazing from the balcony. Great small, clean beach! Had everything in the condo that you could possibly need. We very much enjoyed our relaxing vacation and stay! However, when I had originally booked and reached out with questions, the host was very responsive. When my arrival day got closer, I had difficulty getting in touch with the host. The listing was removed from Vrbo. Directions were promised a week before arrival, I had to reach out to Vrbo agents in order to get the directions sent to me by the host. I sent him a message thank him when the trip was finished and have heard nothing back. Communication seemed to decrease once his condo was booked. Also, his listing has 11:00am as check out time. His ‘directions’ state 10:00am check out, so we had to rush out.

Affordable option to be beachfront

Appreciated our stay and communication from property manager. The resort was dated, and badly in need of repair in some areas. The hurricane damaged pool area was in such disrepair it distracts from the wonderful beach view. Unit itself was clean and comfortable. Note - no private balcony…still able to sit outside and enjoy if you look past the pool. Affordable way to be on the beach.

Family time

Enjoyed being right on the ocean. Expected the balcony to be private rather than others walking by and could look right in our unit if we had the drapes open. Plenty of cleaning an d bath supplies in the unit. Directions in the "book" were clear. Missed some glass bowl or measuring cup that I felt I could use in the microwave.

A great time!

We went to Daytona for Biketoberfest 2023. Our Daytona vacation was to start the 18th! Sadly “life” happened & we were unable to arrive until the 20. I reached out to Richard & asked him if we could extend our stay. We drove down hauling 2 bikes in our trailer. Prior to booking I had asked about trailer parking & was told it wouldn’t be a problem. Upon arrival we found out it wasn’t allowed so we had to find a place or condo would tow it.

Loved it

The view was has expected the unit was very clean. When you entered the unit it smelled clean and the a/c was perfect worked very well. The kitchen had everything necessery. Brian answered all our question in minutes by e-mail. The publix was across the road wich was fun. The parking lot was huge no problem to Park. Me and my wife are probably going to rent it again

Happy Customers

I gifted the two day stay for my son and his fiance. They had a wonderful time and have not stopped thanking me for their time there. The owner was phenomenal with communication and sending information. They said the place was fantastic clean had everything needed right there the location was walking distance to shops. When I asked how their stay was in three words “Best place ever!! “

Perfect!!

I took a solo trip for some quality me time. The condo itself was perfect. Beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great shower!! I didn’t want to leave! The kitchen had absolutely everything. The cable was good. I loved the window looking out onto the beach. The rest of the property (not the condo) was still kind of messed up from the hurricane but you almost forgot about it because your on the beach and the condo was so great!! I would love to bring my family back here in the future!

Beautiful Condo

The condo is beautifully appointed with everything you need. The owners Richard and Patricia were so helpful and responded quickly when we had initially tried to get in and we didn’t realize there was another step to entering the code by pressing the padlock button to unlock the door. (User Error!) The pools and access to the beach from the property was still destroyed by the last hurricane in 2022 so you have to walk down to the public beach access which isn’t far. The location was great with a shopping center across the street and restaurants walking distance. This property is a little over 3 miles from the pier which makes for a great walk on the beach. The balcony faces the beach so it was nice to sit out and enjoy the beach front view. We would definitely come back! Thank you Richard and Patricia for being great hosts!

Good Place To Stay

The room was well-kept. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had essential cooking equipment, and the air fryer/roaster combination unit worked well. The stove is only two burners, which need to be replaced as only a part of each burner gets hot. However, it works well enough. The check-in process was easy, and the directions were sent promptly. However, we did email a question on Saturday and never received a reply. But it was not an essential question, so it was not an issue. The parking can be a pain, but if you only have one or two cars there, that will not be an issue. The building is in the middle of a stalled remodel as the pool is filled with pipes, and the deck is mostly torn apart. Only one of the three elevators works. Any issues with the property are not in the room, but the building needs some work. Last but not least, the view from the room and the deck/walkway area is right on the beach and is beautiful. I would definitely stay again.

Great family vacation at the beach!

The family had a wonderful time at this condo. The condo was a great size with lots of space for all of us. The beach views were beautiful, getting to watch dolphins numerous times from the balcony and at the beach. Close to stores. The kids loved playing on the arcade game in between trips down to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Daytona Beach Stay

The view from the condo was spectacular. It was also great to be within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time and the condo worked great for us.

Great condo/great location

The condo is clean and comfortable and stocked with all the necessities for a week at the beach. It was exactly as advertised and the view is a big plus. The location is perfect for groceries and other shopping.
