Welcome to your perfect mountain getaway, just 2 miles east of charming Packwood, Washington — and only 2.5 hours from both Portland and Seattle. You’re just 10 minutes from the Stevens Canyon entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park, and only 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Resort, which now boasts over 700 acres of skiable terrain after its recent expansion.

This spacious riverfront home is ideal for two families or a group retreat, featuring two luxurious master suites with king beds, a third bedroom with another king, a pull-out sofa in the media room, and two single futons in the loft (perfect for kids).

Set right on the banks of the Cowlitz River, the home offers stunning views of Mt. Rainier. Unwind in the hot tub by the river after a day of skiing or hiking, gather around the outdoor fire pit for marshmallows and stargazing, or enjoy a cozy movie night in the dedicated media room. The fully equipped kitchen makes cooking and entertaining a joy — or take the meal outside to the gas BBQ. A gas fireplace in the living room adds that perfect touch of warmth for relaxing evenings.

Big and beautiful

You have to see the view at this house to believe it. It's the perfect getaway for a couple or a family. The house is large, and the owners made the effort to ensure that you have everything you need to enjoy it.

Great place with nice river access, good outdoor and indoor spaces to relax, fit our larger group well, clean and had all the amenities. I would recommend going here for nice relaxation and to enjoy the nearby trails if you go in the summer. It was very close to the town but also was pretty isolated giving you quiet and privacy which was very nice.

My husband and I booked this getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was exceptional in every way. Jake, the host, was very responsive, friendly and helpful. He is one of the best I've dealt with in renting vacation homes for over 20 years. The home was beautiful and immaculate, and very nicely furnished. Everything we needed for our stay was nicely provided throughout the house. The setting on the Cowlitz River, plus the Mt. Rainier view, is stunning. The wildlife was abundant with elk enjoying the cool river on such a hot day, and otters, too. In addition, Mother Nature decided to show off with an amazing thunderstorm, very welcome for our dry summer. My husband and I gladly recommend this getaway!

Great Family Home

2nd year in a row that we’ve spent Christmas with our adult children in this home. Perfect each time. Location is perfect, close to Whitepass for skiing, minutes to DT and the River view is spectacular. Lots of space and very clean.

Stunning property

We had an amazing stay in this river home. The property is beautiful and nicer than the pictures show. We enjoyed watching the eagles hunt all day and the views of the mountain were very memorable. It was a short trip up to White Pass to ski and areas for sledding. We had one minor issue and the property manager was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location!

Located just outside of the town of Packwood where you can get groceries, hang out at a brewery, and get hand dipped icecream — and just 15 minutes from the park entrance. House was clean and new, with plenty of areas to explore along the river. Would recommend to friends and family.

Very nicely furnished house along a mountain stream with beautiful view of Mt. Rainier. Quiet & secluded property that’s only a very short distance to Packwood. We had beautiful weather during our stay…..mostly sunny, warm & dry.

Stunning

We had such a great time at this property. My mouth dropped when I seen the backyard. The hot tub was a bonus. The inside was very clean and the pictures do NOT do it justice. Just book it!
