Clean home, cabin feel, loved how close it was to ski lift, hot tub a little on the hot side for us but still enjoyed ourselves.

Ski vacation

This condo was a wonderful home base for our ski vacation in Breckenridge - close to downtown, close to skiing, good size for our family, good amenities.

Wonderful place to stay to ski or be close to downtown Breckenridge. The condo had all the comforts of home. Plenty of space for everyone, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and fireplace to enjoy. The 4 o'clock run ends at the complex entrance. A bus stop across the street takes you right to the gondola, if you want to save your energy for the slopes. The hot tubs were great after a busy day skiing. Easy walk to town. Will stay here again!

Glad the condo felt like home with plenty of space, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and a cozy fireplace — and that the 4 o’clock run and nearby bus stop made getting to the slopes easy. Great Location/Awesome Property Management

Great little place, so convenient for skiing! Had one hiccup with the TVs, management was on it and at the condo like it was a heating issue…very responsive and professional. Our remote issues were quickly resolved. Only recommendation would to provide more blankets options for pull out couch. We loved our stay and would stay here again. Thank you!

Overview

The property was just as advertised and even more beautiful in person. The fixtures and decorating are outstanding! Great location. The only thing I would suggest that would make it better is to have ground coffee on hand, that would be available the morning after arrival. We had to go out before breakfast to find some. Thanks!

Horrible property management

First, having to go off site to check in/out is a real pain. Most places have coded door locks. Also they charged us for smoking when none of us smoke. I have reached out to try and get them to remove the charge but they refuse. Do not stay here you will get scammed and Don’t stay anywhere control by Great Western Lodging.

Awesome location

This is a gem. Kitchen very well stocked for home cooking. Great living area with two separate large seating areas for entertaining. Ski in - so easy location for skiing and a one minute walk to bus station. Ultra easy distance to downtown. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Only cons were very dimly lit throughout so can’t do puzzles or games easily at kitchen table. Also closets were being. Used for storage of odd stuff in large plastic storage containers which took up lots of room in both bed room closets. Would have been nice to have that space for guest storage. Maybe put those decorative pillows in those great little vacuum sealed storage bags to utilize the space better. But 5 stars because clean condo and facility and great location!

Lovely 2-bedroom condo with plenty of space for the 4 of us. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware and silverware. Beds were comfy. Loved the balcony. You’re near the truck route so can get noisy, but didn’t bother us much. I brought my hummingbird feeder and was thrilled watching all the hummingbirds. You can enjoy the sound of the rushing stream out front through the open windows which was wonderful. Enjoyed the fireplace on the cool mornings and evenings. Loved being so close to town. We walked to Clint’s bakery every morning for breakfast. The “starter kits” for kitchen, which included laundry pods, was great but was disappointed we didn’t get them for both bathrooms. Had to immediately go buy hand soap, body soap, to shampoo etc. for second bathroom. As other reviews have noted, the lighting could be better, especially over dining table. Maybe just remove the Christmas decorations from light fixture. We could hear the folks upstairs stomping around but not a huge problem. Communication and check-in was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Glad Sawmill Creek Condo 302 had plenty of space and that you enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds, balcony, fireplace, the stream and hummingbirds, and the convenient walk to town and Clint’s bakery. Great to hear check-in and communication were excellent. Sorry the starter kit items were only in one bathroom — that 2nd bathroom should have had a kit too! We’d love to host you again.

Nice Location

Nice Condo overall. Little annoyances. No pepper in kitchen, garbage disposer broke and plumbing clogged. Noisy neighbors upstairs till 1 am and early next morning.

Great location and overall satisfied with the accomodations.

The location is great, near the shopping and easy access to the mountains for hiking. The interior is a little tired with some maintenance needed for the bathroom faucets. But still great place.

Great location, views, and layout for a family or any group of 2 to 6 persons

Loved the layout with plenty of seating area in living room, workable small kitchen, two big beds in one bedroom and one big bed in another, two relatively small but well-equipped bathrooms. Really nice view from the living area and balcony. Great location close to downtown Main Street and two blocks from the gondola. But the big bonus for us was being RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the ski run. We ended up each day by skiing to our parking lot where we just dumped out skis and boards in the Jeep and went inside and relaxed. The unit is nicely furnished and very comfortable and we would request it again and maybe even move our trip a week or two forward or backward to get it!

Gerat location small problems

Overall the condo was great. The issues we had were small. We ran out of hot water very quickly. The handles for both the shower and the faucet in the master area were incorrect or backwards. The couch is well used!

Excellent space and location!

We loved staying in this unit for our little weekend getaway. Great location for walking to downtown and skiing. Just needs a few small additions like more than one pan, maybe some tin foil, ziplock baggies, etc. Overall it’s a great unit and we look forward to coming back!

Quick weekend getaway

This was a great and clean condo. Perfect for a quick weekend ski trip! One block from town so you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Bus that took you to ski lift was literally right out out door. We will be back!

Beautiful, clean, convenient but loud
