We stayed here in order to go and hike at Glacier. We drove about 1-2 hours to get to any of the big hikes, but Columbia Falls was a nice town with good food. The stay was clean, right on the golf course (we wished we would have had more time and it may have not been rainy and we would have done it). The place was great - hot tub, fire place, 3 bedrooms, and everything you would need. Thanks for a great stay!

This was our second stay. Just like our first stay, the home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was fantastic after a fun day of skiing. We love the location in relation to Whitefish, Kalispell, and Glacier National Park. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy family getaway.

LOVED THE MEADOW LAKE RESORT AREA

We really enjoyed our stay at The Wilderness Retreat at Meadow Lake. It is a beautiful resort setting with the golf course, lake and restaurant. Home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay in the Glacier National Park area.

Winter Wonderland

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the central location for area activities, a functioning garage, and spacious yet cozy accomodations.

Great property with easy access to GNP, Kalispell, and Whitefish. Very clean (including the hot tub) and updated. Owners were accessible and easy to work with on questions. Looking forward to our next trip.

Everything about the house was exactly as listed...it was perfect! We had two minor issues and maintenance was quick to fix them. The gentleman who assisted with the hot tub concern was also super friendly and provided a couple of good restaurant tips (Gun Sight Saloon, in particular, was great...good food and awesome live music...and right in Columbia Falls). The community was super quiet and we had great weather. Defintely recommend visiting the bar/grill in the main building and sit outside if possible. So beautiful and right on the golf course.The drive to Glacier National Park was about 40 minutes away, but there are certainly plenty of drive through coffee shops along the way. And the visitor center just outside thte park was a good stop if needed before entering the park.White Fish is also only a 20 minute drive, with small boutiques and restaurant choices.We would definitely return to this property if we return to Montana!

Wonderful stay. While experiencing GNP.

Made a family trip to go experience Glacier National Park together. The house was very roomy for 5 adults and a 12 yr old. The hot tub was awesome after a hiking. We even got in a round of golf. It was perfect.

Our 4 days at GNP

We thought that everything abt our 4-day Vrbo rental at this property was superb. The home is warm and welcoming, it was super clean, everything worked perfectly (incl the hot tub), and the support & communication from the staff was exceptional! We easily rated it five stars out of five.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wilderness Retreat. It was our 1st time there and the property exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The house was exceptionally clean, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. We loved the privacy and its very peaceful surrounding area. Although we only had one snowstorm, we appreciated the use of the garage during the cold days and nights. We're looking forward to returning next winter. Thank you for our new "home away from home." Meadow Lake Golf Retreat scores a birdie!

The property was comfortable and inviting and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed 4 nights with family and friends and had a wonderful time. There is super easy access to GNP’s west entrance and to the North Fork. Groceries are only 5 minutes away and there are deer on the golf course every morning.

This property is one of the nicer ones that we have stayed in. It is as represented in the pictures and descriptions. We were not disappointed. It is very well-appointed property. We appreciated having some spices, oils and sugar, flour etc. Paper products are provided and plenty of towels in each bathroom. These small details make the stay more enjoyable. Great neighborhood and location.

Peaceful, Comfy Stay Near Glacier NP

Wilderness Retreat was a peaceful and comfortable home base for our visit to Glacier NP. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub every afternoon and slept well every night. The management agency was very helpful and communication was great. It was an easy 30 minute drive to Glacier. We didn't eat out much but can recommend Three Forks Restaurant in Columbia Falls and the Huckleberry Pie at Glacier Highlands near the NP entrance.

Fantastic!

We've been taking our Granddaughters to Glacier every summer for the last 10 years. We always rent a place at Meadow Lake Resort with a hot tub. This beautiful home was far & away the best place we've ever stayed! It's lovely! Spacious, great furnishings, nicely decorated, comfy & cozy. The gas fireplace is a nice plus after coming in from the hot tub or on chilly mornings. A wonderful place to "put your feet up" & relax. This home was furnished with anything we could've wanted & more: more spices than I have in my own kitchen; movies & games perfect for teenagers; TVs in the living room & every bedroom. We settled in & made it "home" for a week. We've rented condos at Meadow Lake in the past, but this single-family home was the best! Perfect location, just 16 miles from West Glacier. We highly recommend this property! We will be booking it again in the future.

Perfect place to stay.

Great area to stay to get all the beautiful nature sights. Very clean and accommodating for 6. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra blankets. Hot tub was perfect temperature looking out onto the golf course. We even had deer come up to the deck. Thanks for all the information left at the house.
