The cabin stay was fantastic. Very quiet and relaxing. I've stayed at several other cabins in Murphy and this was my best experience by far. I particularly enjoyed the screened in deck. I sat out for hours and gazed into the tree canopy, particularly at dusk. I would definitely stay at this cabin again in the future.

Mountain Oasis

Perfectly located! Set back in the woods so it's kinda secluded but not too far from anything ! We visited for our 23 wedding anniversary! I could have stayed forever!

Quiet Woods Getaway

I wanted a smaller cabin for myself as a base for visiting local friends and this worked great. A nice porch for enjoying a quiet read in the morning and more than enough space for two or three people. Quick access to 'major' highway to get to where you need to go. Overall very happy with the cabin.

Cabin was ok....needs upgrading in as far as kitchen items are concerned.....very little glassware......Driveway is terrible.....

Thank you for the feedback regarding the kitchen items. This is honestly the first time we've heard this...usually our guests are enjoying all of the kitchen supplies. I will definitely take another look at that. Yes the driveway is steep.

Cozy cabin

This cabin was fantastic and so cute. I loved the fireplace and the screened in porch. The only downfall was the pots and pans to cook with. They were horrible and everything we tried to cook stuck to the pans and the handles got very hot. Other than that I would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

This was the second time we had stayed at this cabin . The driveway was scary the first time , this time it had gotten worse . Although we love the set-up of the cabin . This time though the cleaners had been kind of lacking . I had to wash all of the dishes before we could use them . Had to replace all batteries in all remotes due to them being dead . I ended up having an allergic reaction to the bedding so i had to wash the sheets and towels .

Unfortunately, the cabin required an unusually extensive cleaning after this guest’s stay. My cleaner spent close to five hours restoring it and had to use heavy-duty products to remove buildup on the floors, counters, and stove. A few sheets were also damaged beyond repair. This extra time caused a delay for the next guest’s arrival, which was challenging to manage. In five years of hosting, this has been a rare occurrence, and I truly hope it remains the exception.
