Beautiful,clean, modern cabin. Hosts warm, friendly and welcoming. Lake view and grounds are gorgeous. Best cabin stay ever!!

We had a great time on Big Pine Lake. The place was so clean and nice, and the kitchen was so well stocked and wonderful to use. It was a blast!

Vacation 2025

We had an amazing stay at Big Pine Lake. The property is well maintained and has all the amenities. The location is the perfect distance from Perham, the golf course and neighboring lakes. We would definitely recommend and return.

Such a wonderful Fall weekend getaway. We were in the area for a wedding, but were so surprised at how beautiful Perham is. We loved eating and shopping in town, heading to Maplewood State Park for a beautiful Fall hike, and enjoying the views and calmness at the Lake House. The home was very clean, spacious, and has everything you need. Hopefully we can make it back someday!

Beautiful property and perfect location

Weekend getaway and in town for a wedding, we needed a place to stay. Kelly is extremely accommodating and easy to work with. The guest house is gorgeous!! They let us use the dock for our boat which allowed us to get some great fishing in!!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Cute and Cozy Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family weekend getaway. So welcoming and accommodating with thoughtful extras for us. Loved to see the sunrise over the lake.

Amazing time.

Kelly and Paul were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Their lake home is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. 10/10 recommend staying here if you’re thinking about it.

Loved our visit to the lake and this beautiful home! It felt very private, quiet and comfortable, even though connected to the main house. The amenities were precisely as listed. The owners were very pleasant and quick to respond to any questions during the stay. The bedrooms and upstairs sitting area were larger than expected, easy to accommodate some blow up beds for the children. A lovely stay for a family getaway!

Wonderful Experience!

I don’t often do reviews but had to after our stay here. Kelly was an amazing host who goes above and beyond to ensure you have a good/positive experience. She was very responsive with all communication. Amenities were great, property was beautiful and well kept. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a perfect weekend lake getaway.

Perfection

This place was absolutely beautiful! Host is very kind and goes the extra mile to make everything exceptional. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were. We would definitely love to come back in the summer.

Peaceful Getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our family of five! The cabin is just as pictured and described- beautiful, clean and stocked with anything and everything you should need! We really enjoyed the beach area and having the kayaks and paddle board available to use. Big Pine is such a peaceful lake. Kelly and Paul were wonderful hosts and available for any questions.

My family of four stayed here for six nights and overall had a really nice experience. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and communication was great.I hadn’t realized when booking that the cabin is a guest house connected to the owners’ main home. It is mentioned in the “other notes,” but I missed it. It ended up being fine, although we did feel like we lacked a little privacy. We could occasionally hear music, TV, or the kids, but once our door was closed it was quiet,The guest house itself is beautiful—clean, modern, comfortable and very well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable, AC was perfect, and the location less than 10 minutes from town was a huge plus.The only real disappointment for us was the lake. The beach area was nice with plenty of toys and tubes, but the water near shore was very weedy and mucky, so our family didn’t feel comfortable swimming. We rented the pontoon for a day and found better swimming areas, but at 150/day that wasn’t practical for the whole week. Obviously, lake conditions aren’t the owners’ fault, but swimming was a big part of what we envisioned for our vacation and the pics made it look pristine. Overall, the cabin itself is easily 5 stars. If swimming right from the beach and complete privacy aren’t priorities, I would absolutely recommend it

Quiet getaway

If you are looking for a home away from home.. this is it. They have thought of everything. Very comfortable, clean and friendly. We will be back!

BEST STAY EVER!

We rent short term rentals often and Kelly & her property are an absolute standout! The BEST of the BEST! Kelly is beyond the most accommodating host I have ever met. So responsive and helped us host the most beautiful baby shower for our daughter on the property. This place is very clean, well-stocked, has everything you need to have the best stay ever! Definitely rent this property!

Beautiful property and a gorgeous beach on the lake. The space was very clean, extra amenities to keep everyone busy and having fun. We used the place as a hub for several excursions to surrounding towns and events, and it was the perfect landing spot after our outings. In the evenings, fishing from the dock with our teenager was a great way to get outside and relax a bit. The kitchen, BBQ, and firepit were all well prepped- and we'll be sure to use them next time! While Perham has some very cute shops, the local food options are somewhat limited.

Wonderful!

Kelly and Paul were extremely accommodating and made us feel right at home. Getting up in the morning and enjoying the lake with a cup of coffee was a great way to start the day! The home was well equipped, clean, and beautiful. Checking in and out was a breeze. There are more amenities than you can imagine! Loved our stay there and so did our family. Thank you!
