Relax House is an ideal place to rest and enjoy surrounded by nature and spectacular views.
We have a pool with children's play area, BBQ ranch, terrace, balcony, jacuzzi, mini bar and gardens visited by tropical birds and views of the spectacular Arenal Volcano, all surrounded by peace and tranquility in harmony with nature.
Our facilities are located in a private condominium, with a security guard and restricted access with a remote opening gate. Also we have private spot inside the property for parking 1-2 cars.

(Un lugar ideal para descanso y disfrute rodeado de naturaleza y espectaculares vistas.
Contamos con Piscina con área de juegos para niños, rancho BBQ, terraza, balcón, jacuzzi, mini bar y jardines visitados por aves tropicales y con vistas al espectacular Volcán Arenal, todo esto rodeado de paz y tranquilidad en armonía con la naturaleza.

Nuestras instalaciones se encuentran en un condominio privado, con guarda de seguridad y acceso restringido con portón de apertura remota. También contamos con espacio privado dentro de la propiedad para parquear 1-2 Vehiculos!)

The name of this property holds up to its name! My stay was perfect as I used it for a retreat, taking advantage of the many views of the volcán on a clear day and the serene garden. About 15 mins from La Fortuna centro, you will find this place down a gravel road. It is in a quiet gated community and a store nearby. The outdoor area is spacious and wonderful for entertaining. I also found it quite peaceful to walk down to the river!! The space was very clean. The kitchen had everything I needed including containers for leftover food, coffee, salt and pepper. The bedroom came equipped with hangers, hair dryer, and iron. The only feedback to give is that the floor as it can be very slippery when raining so be cautious!

On our own, we were havinga hard time finding the property. Once we connwcted with Kaylor, it was easy breezy. Property was super. Private with rooms up and down, nice kitchen 2.5 baths and great outside dining. We really enjoyed having the use of the hot tub. Came in extra handy after a Waterfall hike. Grounds we well maintains with assortment if flowers and bushes. Thanks Kaylor, we'll be back!!!!

Everything was great. By far the best host I’ve dealt with. Was given very detailed instructions upon checking in. Literally had no questions from start to finish. The house was close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay.

All the check-in information worked. Just would have liked it a couple days sooner as our phone batteries were drained from our day of driving. Kitchen had all that was needed. Loved the outdoor eating area and sky chairs to lounge in. The room was comfortable. The host was immensely helpful and kind!

Great stay near La fortuna

We had a great stay with 4 guests. The property is about an easy 10-15 minute drive from La fortuna. We found the layout of the home to be very enjoyable. The host was very accommodating with some last minute scheduling changes we had due to issues with our flight. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Lovely stay near Arenal

Great location about 10 to 15 minutes drive from La Fortuna. There is a great breakfast/ lunch place nearby however as well as some small Supers. The place itself is excellent with comfortable beds and good showers. It was just me and my partner and it would be ideal for two couples. The hot tub is also very good and the view of Arenal from the balcony is fantastic. I would recommend having a small 4x4 for the gravel roads up to the property and around the area.Thanks for having us in this unforgettable location.

Great value

We loved this rental, it was everything and more. We did not realize the jacuzzi was enclosed with the rental. We were 15 minutes from la fortuna but that was not a problem for us, it was an easy drive and it was nice to be away from all of the histle and buatle of the town. Def would come here again. So mixh room for a great price

Short stay

I would recommend this property. Great communication, very clean, easy check-in. I did think there was a private pool but ended up being a community pool, which was fine otherwise a great place to stay.

La Fortuna and Adrenal National Parks

We had 3 adults and 4 kids setting at a Relax Home. Rooms are crowded when more than 3 people stay in a room. The Host was excellent at responding quickly to any questions we had. Arrival and departure instructions were excellent. Relax home is about a 15 minute drive to the town of Fortuna but has a grocery store and restaurants nearby if you choose to not drive into Fortuna. Great location for visiting Adrenal and Fortuna National Parks.

Very safe place

We felt very safe with a gated quiet community with a guard on routine walks. Never spoke to him, but you could see him in the distance or late night patrol. Never felt like he was looking, just felt safe.The place was different for us with the outside living room and kitchen was like a bar, very cool.

Great for the price!

We were only there for just over 12hrs. It was a good stay while we were there. The jacuzzi was a nice touch. It was a bit difficult being a family of 5 but we made it work. Loved the desk with the swings.

Family Trip

This property was sufficient for our family stay. The kids enjoyed the community pool and jacuzzi. The kitchen was very small for cooking and the lower bedroom smelled very musty anytime it was not aired out. The open air living was fun, but we all missed having a comfy place to hang out. The views of the volcano are great and the hammock swings on the balcony are a fun spot to have morning coffee. We didn’t think the property was too far from the action but we also had a rental car. Overall this spot worked okay for our family. I’m not sure how 8 people could ever fit though. If you have kids just know that the bedrooms are one up and one down and the doors to get in each bedroom are outside. We felt safe but that could be tricky with little ones.

Coolest Place! A little tight for 8 so CUTE!

This place was AMAZING! We walked in at night and the outdoor space blew us away! It is the coziest backyard with a tv and jacuzzi! Loved the lighting and outdoor kitchen and table. The little kitchen was perfectly functional and cool. The main beds were comfy- we had 8 people and had to blow up the air mattress and it made the rooms pretty tight. The owners were so kind and even sent someone to bring us an extra blanket. I definitely recommend this place! Loved it so much!

The house was perfect for a family of three. It had a wonderful view of the volcano. It was lovely to sit on the porch and drink coffee in the morning. The property manager messaged with additional details the night before our stay began. His information was very helpful. When planning the stay for our needs, I based the VRBO location on what it states in the listing map provided. This is not correct representation of house location. It says it is one min walk to restaurants, etc. it is at least a ten min drive in to town. It worked out for us in the end. Otherwise, a very lovely stay. Thank you.

Relax House was Perfect!

We LOVED Relax House! It was perfect for my adult daughter and I. I could envision the place would be comfortable with 4-6 people. The house and its surroundings have so much character and charm! As an architect I appreciate the layout with the varied spaces and the use of the land. The indoor/outdoor areas were very private and secure. Communications with the Owner was always timely and with very clear instructions. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna!
