This was the best stocked rental we’ve stayed in. The kitchen had quality cookwear. The beds were super comfortable with quality sheets! Great location!

I cannot rate this property high enough. It is the best VRBO we have ever rented. The house is 1st class. Everything you will ever need for your stay is included. The location could not be better. One mile to downtown Helena.We spent every evening sitting on the patio until sundown. Fantastic! Owners made it super easy to get in and out. Communicated every step of the way.

When we drove up we were concerned it was so close to a major road. But the area was very quiet and we never heard any traffic. The inside of the house is lovely with an excellent kitchen should you want to cook. Two full bath rooms and bedrooms make it an easy stay. We were only four so we did not use the spacious family room. Everything was very clean and Ericka responded to my emails about area questions. We would stay again.

Very friendly owners

The owners were great communicators and responded when we had a couple of questions. It is one of the most clean vacation rentals we have stayed in. Spacious in every room - great linens. Fantastic bonus outdoor front sitting area.

Great getaway

This was a great place to have a friend get together. We were all able to hangout in the big livingroom space and use large kitchen to cook meals. The only thing that would have made the place superb would be making sure all the necessities were stocked. We had to byybuy some mixing bowls and

Excellent family experience!

We had family from 3yr old to 80 (4 of us) in town to visit family for three days. This home was fully prepared to make meals, spread out comfortably and the host even had toys for our grandchild! We could not recommend this property any stronger. It was a beautiful, clean, safe just wonderful stay. The decor was rustic but elegant. It was not cheap make believe rustic. Very well thought out. We hope to stay here again when we visit family for new grandchild coming in September! Cannot say enough nice things about this place. Thank you!

What a fabulous home centrally located in Helena. I am very particular about my lodging arrangements and this home was everything we needed and more. So wonderfully decorated, attractive furnishings that are super comfy. I fell asleep on the couch every night. I loved the living room. So warm and comfortable. Everything you could need is already here. Just bring clothes/toothbrush/toothpaste

Comfortable Montana style house close to Carroll College

Nicely furnished comfortable home close to Carroll College with unique Montana and Nordic finishes. Has a nice movie room and outdoor living space. The weather was hot so very much appreciated the air conditioning. Was able to easily communicate with the property owner. Would like to stay again in the future!

Lovely Home

This is a beautiful home and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Our hosts made us feel so welcome and made the process super easy. Location is very convenient to downtown and surrounding neighborhood is a great place to walk and enjoy outdoors.

I love to travel and my husband travels most of the year for work so, between the two of us we have a good idea on what folks visiting an area, choosing to stay at short term rental accommodations vs. a hotel stay want in their travel accommodations. We focus on comfy linens, cozy sitting areas, and inspiring wall art. You will also find a welcome booklet highlighting nearby restaurants, hiking trail maps, local entertainment during your stay, tour companies, and other things to do.

Lamp Post Lodge is a centrally located in a fringe neighborhood of Helena's coveted upper west side, aka the mansion district, the old "who's who" of Helena's historic gold mining days. Lamp Post Lodge is decorated to dwell in a day enjoyed in the area or inspire other outdoor adventures yet to be had in Montana. If you like cooking, our kitchen is spacious with lots of counter space and an island with a gas range. If you don't want to cook there are several restaurants within 2-3 blocks.
