Deceptive and Disappointing
Upon arrival we were not able to access the property or the unit. It took almost 2 hours to gain access. Property was advertised as new but shows much wear beyond it's 3 year age. Couch was dirty, unit was not prepared with sufficient basics such as paper towels, trash bags, etc. I had to track down a grounds keeper to get a trash bag. Dishwasher did not get dishes clean and refrigerator was broken and had to be repaired. Lost 2 days vacation because of repair and waiting for supplies to be delivered. Photos do not show that Costco is very visible. Much construction and very noisy. Limited chairs and umbrellas at pool. No contact person at the property which is a big minus. After you book you are on your own. VRBO staff tried to help but local hosts did NOT respond to calls or emails. It basically ruined our vacation. VRBO as a rental organization was not willing to do anything more than try to contact the host. They basically tossed the problem over the fence to unresponsive hosts and washed their hands of trying to offer any type of compensation or ban the host for false advertising and not being responsive to us, the client, or VRBO itself. VRBO knows how to take your money but not help if there is a problem.
