Gorgeous newly remodeled coastal cottage in the heart of Tybee Island! Sit on the deck and enjoy the ocean breeze, walk to all the shops and restaurants. Walk a few short blocks to the beach, rent a surfboard on the way from the local surf and skate shop. Rent a golf cart or bikes and tour Tybee Island's beautiful parks, homes and beaches!

The Heron's Hideaway has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a large kitchen, gas grill, laundry and a screened sunroom. The home has all new furniture and bedding, each bedroom is equipped with a smart tv and home has high speed wifi.

Home has all needed items to prepare meals, all linens and bath towels provided. Beach towels, beach cart provided for guest use. A starter set of toiletries and paper products are provided.

Great House

The house was great for our needs. Only the porch stairs, but rest of house single story, good for my elderly mother. The only problem we had was no hot water. I would stay in the house again in the future, but would need to be assured of having hot water for showers.

Great place to stay 10/10

Beautiful house. Perfect for the 6 of us family members and our newborn. We stayed in town for my brothers destination wedding. The house was perfect for us. Spacious with laundry, close to good food and the beach and an easy drive to Savannah. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Quick family and college roommate meet up for beach and exploring in Savannah.

Immaculate and appears newly, freshly renovated in a coastal theme with well stocked kitchen and spacious dining/ living open concept and updated bathrooms with 2 cute decks for hanging out.plenty of working beach chairs, umbrella, boogie board and beach wagon . . Comfortable for family not 2-3 couples.

Rave Review for Herndon House.

Great place to stay, we would all like to come back again next year! House was clean & comfortable. Its proximity to everything was great. Our only complaints were the outreageous cost of cleaning and the fact that we couldnt find access to washer & dryer, which was offered as an ammenity on the site. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Next to Waves store

The location is next to a Waves store....so if you have kids not a great. Also guest bedroom sheets smelled of urine. Had to wash immediately. Murphy bed in den is not safe. My teen opened it and it collapsed on his foot. Deep bleeding contusion that left him unable to walk on it for 24 hrs; limped rest of week It ruined his vacation. I emailed owner to let them know the bed was not safe (there were bolts loose sitting on top of mattress when lid eas lifted (bed then collapsed so fast on teen nothing could be done to intervene). and did not recieve a reply back until after we had left. My point in emaili g was just a heads up so that did not happen to anyone else.

Loved the stay

I can’t even get the words together to describe the amazing experience I had at this property. I’m thankful to have found this little gem - my family and I will be returning this summer. Excellent location in quiet beach town

Two nice patio areas, perfect for coffee or cocktails. Tall dining table was just right for games. Parking area was large and off the road. Would meet the family there again.
