The property was clean and a good location for the activities we chose. We were surprised to learn about the 54 steps after we had booked. We are nearing our 80's and it was a challenge with full suitcases and backpacks. But we managed. The parking along the road on a hill made it difficult for the driver to get out. The actual room was great. Very quiet.

Cozy forest dwelling

Was nice to stay somewhere away from the city. Supplied French press coffee was delicious, and we loved all the squirrels that would routinely visit.

The charming “treehouse” was just that. We had a delightful time observing the stars at night. The kitchen was just perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood was a lovely place for a morning walk.

Quiet comfortable forest retreat

Clean, comfortable, quiet and stylish studio apartment in the woods. Good location for visiting Point Reyes and good Wifi connection. Host always responded quickly. Wish we had been able to stay longer.

Enjoyed our time!

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our time at the treehouse studio! It was a beautiful and quiet place to relax, work, and think. The studio was clean and well-furnished, and we found everything we needed. We enjoyed the local farm stand, cafe, and restaurants as well.

Sweet little hideaway in the woods

We had a great stay. Emrys was a fantastic host. The studio was just the right size for two. The weather was very temperate, so we didn't use the Heat or AC. We loved the area and won't hesitate to book here again when/if we return.

Studio in the trees

Very nice property, clean, pictures are accurate and studio was as described. Comfortable space, comfortable bed and pillows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host communicated well with instructions, as well as providing phone number if needed.

Great location near Taylor Park

We appreciate that the host puts ecological issues high as a priority, but we would have appreciated sheets under the comforter, some paper towels and olive oil in the kitchen, and a regular change of clean towels.

Dear David, our comforter has sheets both on the bottom and on top, European style, which we believe is more hygienic than having it just on the bottom. You asked for new towels I gave them to you within minutes, why mention it again here? This is not a hotel that we do towel changes every day. Similarly you could have asked for olive oil and paper towels. It is written on the fridge and on my messages to please ask if you need anything! I don’t mind providing those things at all.

Perfect place for a getaway

This studio was exactly as presented online, so the pleasant surprise was that there were no surprises. It was very clean and modern and everything worked as it should. The setting is superb, surrounded by trees, and we became friends with a doe and her fawns who seemed to be living under the deck. We'll be looking for this place again next time we go for a Marin - Pt Reyes getaway.

Summer vacation 2025

Love this studio! Aneka was a gracious host and we had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We were visiting family & friends in Marin where we lived for many years ourselves (now we're in New England). So it was great to be back in the area and to stay here which was near everything we wanted to do and see - just a beautiful location and property. It was a bit challenging to get up the stairs but that wasn't a big deal and gave us some exercise lol. We highly recommend staying here and thanks Aneka for a wonderful experience!
