Perfect Romantic Gateway

My husband and I absolutely love this place We enjoy so much our stay and we were sad to leave. Is exactly like advertising. So cozy and romantic quit, clean and surrounded by lots of nature perfect to scape form the city. Really confortable for a couple or a small family with one or two kids and your dog. The refrigerator is small so I will recommend to bring a cooler. The hot tub and outside shower is remarkable and the bed is big and confortable Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back soon.

Cozy. quiet retreat

The place was just what I was looking for in a solo year-end retreat. Although it was a bit hard to find (the street address doesn't match the Maps address), the owner's description of it did help. Very private and cozy - would make a good romantic getaway or writer's retreat. Great place for nature walks or stargazing far from the madding crowd.

Cozy retreat

We loved our stay here. Perfect location for exploring Point Reyes National Seashore. It is worth exploring the neighborhood too — the views of the ocean are magnificent. We didn’t mind the kitchenette and adapted our meals accordingly. It is an open concept bathroom in the middle — not a problem for us. We would definitely return.

Great little studio in funky Bolinas

This studio is as funky and cool as the town of Bolinas. Great vibe here with lots of windows and sky lights. We loved star gazing from the bed. Just blocks away from Agate Beach and great hiking along coastal bluffs.

Another Amazing Stay

Coastal California

Out stay was perfect for the two days we were there. The cottage was very clean and the bed so comfortable we slept all night. The beach is a very short drive or a nice walk. We drove because we didn’t want to walk back after sunset. We had an amazing dinner at Coastal Cafe our first night. Raw oysters and champagne are not to be missed!! The skylights for natural light were a highlight. We also enjoyed seeing the stars from the hot tub. The cottage was very private and the kitchen was perfect for our short stay. Nice tea kettle and coffee pot. The fridge is dorm size, but perfect for a few days. Entertainment system was perfect for unwinding after a beautiful day exploring the area. The cottage is a litle difficult to find, but once we figured it out, easy to get back to. The bathroom definitely lacks privacy and the toilet closet is small. The shower is quaint, but does require a large step to get in, not easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Overall a great escape and start to our California get away.

Affordable Bolinas Rental

The owner had us download a map and information about the rental before we came. The map needs to be updated. There is NO address at the access gate,and the property is overgrown and hidden. That said,best to arrive in daylight. The rental was clean,but not many amenities. Bring your own coffee. There is a coffee pot and clean dishes,The fridge is very small. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is not private,situated between the kitchen and bedroom with no doors,except glass french doors. The tub is a clawfoot with a clear shower curtain.The compost toilet is in a small closet,with a door. This would be a great place for a single person for a long stay if needed. We were 2 for 2 nites. Super nice gas fireplace and reading nook in the kitchen. The neighbors kitty was very friendly and visited everyday. The hot tub is small but efficient. Lots of art and craftmanship throughout the rental and on the property. Never saw the owner. Simple communication by text. We were visiting friends in Bolinas.

Comfortable Cabin

Cozy and comfortable for me and would be great for two people, but a little crowded for three or more. Everything was in good working condition, clean and sanitary. I enjoyed spending time in the town of Bolinas and the surrounding area was great for hiking and photography.

blissful retreat!

My time at this Bolinas cottage was exquisite; I had everything I needed for three quiet days of retreat. I loved sitting on the deck soaking up the sun and taking walks to various beaches and cliff top views. Absolutely perfect!

Perfect retreat

We absolutely loved staying here. The cottage is so unique and well designed and constructed - it's beautiful and there is plenty of space to stow one's belongings. The clawfoot bathtub was a special treat. The hot tub and general vibe of the property were real highlights too. We met a couple of neighbors on the road and they were incredibly gracious - even found a missing wallet for us! Bolinas is wonderful and we will be back!

4-day stay

My partner and I loved this location! It was a wonderful relaxing vacation in Bolinas! House is a short distance from several beaches + hikes in the area. Get the map the owner sends to make sure you can find it as the parking + location can be very difficult without their help. The yard could use a slight trim but we didn't have any issues when we stayed. Wonderful relaxing time waking up every day to see the sun and beautiful area. Thanks again!

Would come again for a weekend away

It was a lovely stay that was clean, easy to locate, had all of the amenities to feel comfortable and relaxed, and was perfect for having a weekend to get out of dodge. Really a lovely, quaint experience and I could see myself easily drawn back for a break in the daily routine in the future.

The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of this cabin! We were here during a major wind and rainstorm, and were so warm and happy in this airy and quiet space. One of the more unique and lovely homes we’ve rented - highly recommend.
