The host was so gracious and quick to respond. They have made this like a true vacation home! They thought everything: the kitchen is stocked and the bookshelves are packed with must-reads. Within arm’s reach are toys, playing cards, and tabletop games. The living room flows onto the patio that’s perfect for sunbathing or enjoying an evening by the fire pit. The master bedroom has the comfiest bed and an excellent view of the scenery. The decor is period accurate and looks amazing. The house itself is in a quiet neighborhood sheltered from busy roads and noise. Grocery stores, vineyards, bars, fine dining, the lake, the beach, and the historic town square is only 5-10 minutes away. 10/10 recommended

Beautiful Oasis

This is a beautiful property inside as well as your view outside. The place is even prettier than the pictures. I loved my stay there and plan to go back at some point. Meredith was a great host and stayed in contact with me. Would recommend this to anyone!

Much needed vacay

Everything was exactly as described! The house is a perfect location for a quiet get away. The owners labeled things so there was no question on how to work things. Every detail was thought out!

Granbury Get Away

The house was a perfect getaway for me and my hubby to celebrate New Year’s. Travel time to historic downtown, for shopping and enjoying walks in the park, was under ten minutes. The evening’s were quiet and relaxing sitting on the back porch making s’mores on the lake. The house is beautiful and has all amenities you’ll need or want. We would definitely return.

Private, comfortable and nicely decorated

Photos are accurate. The home is very cute and nicely decorated. The 2 bedrooms are opposite ends of the home, with the family and living spaces between, so each couple is ensured adequate privacy.The kitchen has all the basic needs. The beds are really comfy. The back deck is large and comfortable. The home was spotless and in perfect order (with the minor exception of there being several light bulbs that were out) and our stay was very easy and comfortable.

Love the Agave house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. My granddaughter says it’s her favorite place we’ve stayed so far. The house is very clean and we had everything we needed. And the layout and decor are so cool, from the curved walls to the floor to ceiling windows. You will not be disappointed staying here. We hope to come back someday.

A wonderful stay

Before check in communication with the host was very good. The house is wonderful. Very modern and clean. The river behind was a source of entertainment. The kids lived fishing and going on the canoes. The property is private and not overlooked. It’s about a ten minute drive into central Granbury. This was definitely The relaxing break away from the city that we needed. Would highly recommend staying here.

Best birthday trip ever!

We had such a wonderful time staying at the agave house, the house had included kayaks and canoes which we used to go from the canal to the lake and it was so relaxing. Meredith was wonderful about providing me with all of the information about where we were staying and even gave recommendations for things to do in Granbury! We had a blast and will definitely be back!

Loved the vibe of the house with the open floor plan, curved wall of floor to ceiling windows with a view of the back deck and canal. Great communication with the host who checked to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great experience and highly recommend!

Great Getaway!

The Agave House did not disappoint! The pictures on the website are spot on in regard to the vibe and style of the place. Designed for easy living with a great view of the outdoors and the water, we felt like we were tucked away in a serene yet easily accessible retreat that was close to the local attractions. Our host was great! Meredith was friendly, thoughtful, and readily available if we had a question or concern. I would highly recommend the Agave House for your next vacation to the Granbury area!

Weekend Away

The Agave House was great for a relaxing getaway. The house is spacious and private. The open floor plan and wall of windows provide indoor access to the outside in addition to the deck areas. We would highly recommend a stay at the Agave House.

Perfect Staycation!

We had the best little get away for spring break with our 2 boys. House sits on the canal with easy access to hop in the kayaks or canoe and go! They did a great job renovating the home to an adorable mid century vibe. Everyone had a great time and got to unplug.

Fun time on the Brazo's

Super cute mid century modern river house. We really enjoyed our stay honestly the owners thought of everything. They have a poster with restaurants to eat also with activities, they kayaks are a plus. The beds are super comfortable not at all hard this is a struggle with me and rentals. Everything was great! Would definitely come back!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We spent our 23rd anniversary at Agave House. It was the perfect spot to rest Ms reconnect for the weekend. We spend most of our time on the beautiful deck soaking up the sun and sounds of nature. The house was beautiful and quaint with detailed touches. It was well maintained and immaculate. We definitely will come back to Agave House.

Hidden Gem

What a great getaway on the lake, tucked away, and yet only a short drive to the historic square. Floor to ceiling windows across the entire backside of the home—and an equally large deck—made us feel like we were nestled in a tree house. We ante every meal on the deck among the cardinals, at the outdoor table, or around the fire pit. Inside, the very clean, minimalist, fresh design offered every amenity we needed. The two full baths and bedrooms were perfect for two couples. Host was very hospitable and easy to reach. We had a lovely, peaceful stay.

Beauty and comfort

Thank you Meredith for letting us stay in you beautiful home. I just knew Paul Newman or Elizabeth Taylor would step out any minute. The house has just a Hollywood feel and I love it. All our needs were met and we had a lovely time. I sure hope we can come back again sometime. Thanks again

Peaceful Retreat

This property is adorable. We booked last minute to attend a wedding in Weatherford when our previous booking of another property was abruptly cancelled. Every detail was considered in this house and everything was super clean and well maintained. Meredith was great to work with and responded promptly to our questions. We would definitely stay again if in the area!
